Imrc box picture help me find please...

SVO posted a picture within the last month of a IMRC box on the engine and I can't seem to find it. I tried searching under posts made by him but have come up with nothing so far. Does anyone remember which thread it was in?

why dont you go look at the motor and see it in person! its right on the back of the driverside head, follow the 2 cables that come off the imrc's and they will lead you to it!

Do I have to be under the car?

I'm trying to find out if it's something I can do myself, I'm also trying to see if it's something that can be done from above the engine or under the car.

Awesome. Thanks....it's the silver box on the ds head right?

Yes - look close and you'll see the 2 cables going to the arms that control the IMRC butterflies.

I figured when Jamie said they come from the IMRC's and I saw that, that was the box, but didn't want to assume. I'm trying not to re-create the "brute force" incident by assuming things

Yeah, not sure how Jeff got it out so fast. I took the pic then went inside to grab us each a Poweraid and when I came back it was out already. :lol:

if you take the hood off and remove the wiper cowl and wiper mechanism it wont be hard at all.

I'll have to talk to you on the phone about it later this week, it would take forever to type what you could probably explain in a few minutes. I think I'll tackle that job because it shouldn't be too hard.
