I didn't say it was the slowest car on the road. But I'm not going to say it's super fast either.

I'd like to run against your 75 shot after I get my next 2 mods done. Heck, I'll even try ya with just the stall. I'm just interested to see what the outcome would be.
 
a 75 shot is not going to make an LS a fast car, and it doesn't make you look cool when you tell your friends that you won a race against a 1974 AMC Gremlin!

listing a bunch of cars that run 16-21 second quarters also does not make the LS fast

to add insult to injury an LS is just as fast as a 1991 Acura Legend LS according to your info, 10 years newer, twice the engine size, and still the same sh1tty times

so are you telling me that a 91 Acura Legend is also fast since it's 0-60 and 1/4 times are the same as the LS

LSs are slow from factory, but u can modify it to make it b what u want. Both 24V 3.0 V6 and 32V 3.9 V8 have a lot of potential.
About nobody selling upgrades. U dont need them to, unless u like to do things easy, u can get a civic anywhere for cheap and have billions of already made parts.
Sad is your V8 slower than my brother 2.4 sorry a$$ neon. Ur srt-8s get beaten every hangout night by small engine powered cars. Thats sad, me? I drive a car nobody has seen around here, rare, in fact I went into the Ford dealer yesterday and the very owner came out to see a stick shift lincoln after arguing for like 20 minutes no lincoln came with manual transmission, unlike urs that Ive seen them in all colors, with all type of ugly nonsense huge rims, boat kinda sounding exhausts. Whats more, Ima take pictures next time I go, and even post videos to show u how "sad" ur srt-8 is.

About all engines r the same, I meant u can modify any engine and make it a rocket.

not really, the cast internals is by far the weak link in the car, and as nobody makes new pistons, rods, and crank, your pretty limited with how much power you can make

if he wanted a car to win drag races, he would have (a) started with a car that has a lot of potential and didn't weigh as much as the USS Kennedy (b) he would have build it to do so.

Actually there's an aftermarket for the 3.0 duratec, it's not huge but there is one. There's also a 3.0 duratec that running Twin Turbo, factory though, and it's made in Europe. I think it's a Alfa-romeo, not positive, I'll see if I can look it up again and repost. But that isn't really the point. My point will be that if you have the money the sky's the limit with any engine. Most people with fast cars have put more money into their engine then I spend to buy most of my cars.

As far as the dearships go, yea they're usually pretty uneducated about there vehicles that they are selling. Most sales people are like that, in all fields. The best thing to do is to be an informed shopper.

I have to correct myself, it was a Noble M400, not a Alfa-Romeo.

The Noble M400 is a British supercar. It's a mid-engine Twin Turbo 3.0 Duratec engine making 425HP @6500rpm and 390lb-ft @5000RPM. It was upgraded to forged internals to handle the extra power. So it can be done, but at what cost, I don't know. Oh and 0-60 was a scant 3.5 seconds.
 
I'm on the fence about FI setups, but the installation of that is impeccable.

Sad thing is, the pictures you would take aren't of MY SRT8. But you go right ahead and do that and I'll continue laughing at your nonsensical posts just like I laugh at all these 300Cs with 6 cylinders and 26s.

You're comparing Civics to Ls's. Pick one. This is an LS site, not vtec.net. Compare aftermarkets for Hondas and LSs. One has a huge one. The other? Well, we already know that answer. We, meaning, everyone else but you.

I can respect a car that's built right and goes fast no matter what it is. I'm not "brand loyal", a "fanboy" of any particular line of cars. I like what I like. I don't care what cars can beat mine. Which is pretty obvious when I owned an LS for almost 3 years.

I'll tell you one thing that's a fact: there certainly won't be a V6 5 speed LS beating MY SRT8. Not even yours after you throw your imaginary money at it. Good luck in your efforts and be sure to let us know how it goes. I got 5k that says your LS comes nowhere near an SRT8. And your brother's SRT4 doesn't count just because you parked next to it.

It depends. If we do a 1/8 of mile I dont need to built the whole engine to take u. Plus, if we do road curse dont be so sure on a tuned manual LS. I will beat you so bad and still've spend less money than u buying that fat gas burning vehicle.

2 MPG worse around town and 3 on the highway compared to the underpowered, smaller V8 in the LS. I'll take - and can afford - that trade-off.

Hey thanks, I didn't even notice. Cool.big 1000. Yeah I think I am going to go with slp resonators and x pipe. I have been listening to missing linc's videos and on youtube trying to compare flows to slp's and I like the sound of it.I am trying to go with a back up just in case the slp's are too loud. I will cut the flows and probaly sell them. I'll prob post here first then elsewhere. Going to put up the flowmaster mufflers, borla mufflers and gen2 rims up for sale. Man do I go through mufflers like cereal or what.

How old r u man?? I dont drive V8, mine with 5spd has WAY better gas mileage than yours.

The point of bringing my county's race series up, is simply to show u they use the same engine I have in my car. About the gas is to prove u that nor even race gas is needed. Over there u get like I said 97 at all pumps.

About my dad, he was a mechanic to those series when we were back there, plus this 3 more.

Yea, you do probably do get 3-5 mpg better if you drive , WAY better no, but better yes. The V6 LS doesn't get anywhere near as good of millage as it should.
