I'd recommend one thing at a time. Cut the mufflers off first to see how you like it. Then go from there. You might be surprised how you like it and you might save some $$.

Hey! You're the SOB that pointed me in that direction. Well I dont know if thats the exact set up I'll do for now. Maybe Res delete with x pie and muffs or your set up, but I I'm leaning towards slp right now cause they have that nice muscle car sound like flows and its I wont lose hp with them. If you have a good set up you gotta share it with us

Yea there right i have a 2004 LS they dynoed the my car FOREVER. He had never had a LS on the dyno before and wanted to make sure he was getting the most out of it.Got there at 930ish left the dyno shop at 230am didnt charge me hourly just the flat price for the tune.The biggest advantage is the delay when you floor it becuse the throttle goes to half open then turns to open it doesnt go WOT from flooring it he fixed it with the tune!

Wow. I got mine for around 400. How long ago was this?
Different markets and the quality of the work will dictate different prices. I brought mine to a great shop to do the magnaflows, 2.25" pipes from resonators back (waiting to get some aeroturbine resonators before doing the rest), and they also waited for me to cut the bumper to accept the tips... for a little over 300 total. I thought that was a pretty good deal.
I cant remeber the Exact numbers its been almost 2 years and i have no idea where the papers went but i belive it was 244hp 258 torque. k and n air filter cut a hole in the bottom of the intake box the end mufflers where takin off 48 inch baffling tips. It was dyno tuned at 90K miles! i raced a 05 ls after the tune beat it by 2+ cars every time the 05 had 29k miles on it

Could be caused by use of different brands of dynos.

Full K&N intake, wrapped in ThermoTech, light port/polish work on the throttle body and intake neck, 2.25 catback with the X, no mufflers and the SLP's in place of stock.
He had a filter and chopped mufflers with the tune.
Oh and I had 251hp/274tq, not 259.

Yea Im getting it on the dyno after winter for a tune. Its a good investment.
Only because I've heard good things. No other reason.
I think they said every 3rd or last saturday of the month. Not sure but I can give you the number if you want to call.
What are you going for by adding these though. You want to lower your exhaust's loudness?

I think you should try cutting off the mufflers and see how you like that with just the stock resonators, wait, the 03-up LS have resonators right? I love the sound of most cars with just a resonator, or hell just take the whole cat back off, I've done that to several cars, sweet, sweet engine sounds. MMMMMMMMMM now that hits the spot
What this guy said, I have the cutouts on the lincoln. Sounds badass when I want them, and silent when I dont.
Also, HP gains were good and very minimal torque loss. Evened it up quite nicely.
