Do this, go drive the car and put it in the Manual 2 position on the shifter. Normally you should have trans braking when you let off the gas, exactly like you would in second gear on a manual transmission. Try that and let me know what it does. What my 98 did was no OD and no trans braking in second. OD and trans braking in second is common to the OD band piston. I believe that is the biggest piston of the 3 you see with the VB off. Let us know what happens!

you have been a member here for 7 years and dont know what a j-mod is? is a mod by a guy named jerry that adds life to the trans and gives it a little more kick in the pants during shifts, but a search would have given you a longer more detailed description.

Ok everything is perfect. i went back into the valve body flipped the packman cover plate to the correct position and the biggest f up was i put the 2 to 3 accumulator piston cover that presses in up side down. duh, flipped dat sum b#@* sideway and crammed it up dat candy a$$. PERFECTION.

Oh yeah
It chirps second and 3rd now, tires a little bald. still waiting on my 18 x 9 saleen star direct fits from temple perfomance cars. so they just gonna be bald and chirpin for a minute.

no that was just a picture i found online that showed me the what it was supposed to look like. that woulve been overkill just for a jmod. all i can say now is YEEEEHAAAW, got pulled over already for aggresivly choirping gears lol. gave me a warning out of his jurisdiction and had better things to do plus i never broke the speed limit just made alot of noise!
