I'm going to have it hooked up so its the regular horn. Just gotta think and plan out where i want all this to be, the compressor will most likely be mounted in the trunk and the horns will be mounted underneath the car. Anybody else have train horns on their mark? I don't care if people think its loud and obnoxious in person lol, it'll be fun and people will be sorry when they cut you off. Any thoughts/opinions on where i could mount the train horns underneath the car? Everything is stock underneath except for a custom exhaust, 1 pipe branched off into 2 pipes, 1 muffler each side. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

That's going to be loud......when i'm not deployed I work for the railroad....so I know the sounds well have fun

sounds like fun,

dont be surprised when you startle that little old lady in the big Cadillac and she nails the accelerator instead of the brake and plows into the side of you....

hopefully not, just sayin'

yeah i know its going to be loud, i listened to the video and i was like holy :q:q:q:q. thanks! and yeah i hope its fun and i hope nobody plows into me. the most fun will be blowing the horn when some moron cuts me off hehe :)

Well, according to some of his videos I think he's based here in Miami, Fl. Those horns are quite typical here. Mostly found on F-250's, 350's, Excursions & ppl with DONK's. I'd love to own one though. Not on my Mark but for my truck.

Really??

Train horns around here are for the hillbillys with their trucks. They think so cool but the all look like jackasses.

Theres a reason why they are called train horns.

Behind the grille or
Above the oil cooler or
Inside the left front bumper cavity
next to the ABS relay.

but there's absolutely No room underneath the car
without being damaged by
road obstacles/speed bumps/railroad berms.

my buddy has one in his jeep. its hilarious watching people in front of you going like 5mph on the phone or texting, drinking coffee or my personal favorite this lady putting on lipstick while driving taking up 2 lanes he hit the horn and she smeared her face and dropped it on the floor. you wait for people you let cross the street then take FOREVER to get across nail the horn when theyre right in front of you they jump like 10 ft! worth every penny.

J's car on LOD.

I've never understood the fascination with these.

I wouldn't wire it up as your regular horn, but that's my opinion.

I used to have an air horn on my Taurus, I ran it off the factory horn wiring but with a switch in between so I could also honk normally.

I had a cheapo harbor freight air horn but it was still pretty loud.

might just get it hooked up so i have the regular horn too, i have some $$ saved up and if im not buying new rims and tires i might just do this or finish off my sound system. i can vision me getting pulled over a lot for this in staten island, staten island is NOTORIOUS for pulling people over for every little thing, such as tint, loud exhaust, sound systems etc.. but once you go over the bridge into brooklyn they don't bother you. now i have to balance these 2 things, having fun or having the cops bust my you know whats every time i drive off my street lol.

Since you mentioned tint, and toggle switches...make a toggle switch for your window switches, if pulled over, flip the switch so you can't roll your windows down, cop can't place the meter around the door frame...no proof-no ticket

I'm confused lol, you mean don't roll my windows down when i get pulled over or when i do before the cop comes over roll them down and don't roll them up? I'm really exhausted and i don't really understand what you said fml. they're going to have a field day with me, sharp looking car, a little bit of tint, and they'll think ooh a kid's driving it, lets pull him over and write him some nice fat tickets lol.

If you're pulled over for tint, Its because the windows were up and the cop could see they are too dark, then the cop walks up to your car and the windows are down and convieniently won't work, it'll look kinda suspicious, but if the windows are still up, and won't roll down, his tint meter will not fit around the doors frame hence he can't meter them. However, I've had a friend get his window tint cut by a cop that couldn't meter them. With that in mind, If they're down inside the door, and they don't work, he can't very well cut them. The choice is yours... Confuse a cop with a non-working window that's inside the door, or piss him off when they can't be metered and risk getting the tint cut

ah now i get you, i think ill probably go with the leave them down option lol

Remind me not to drive to Staten Island.... I've got 15% on the side and 5% in the rear glass.
