Wow this sux! It rained like crazy last night and when I got up this morning and checked I saw my cars brake rotors were just getting wet the water was so high in my car port. :( So I raised the car then called my boss and went back to sleep. Get up again and try to leave at 11 since it hasnt rained in 5 hours. My yard is flooded still but the street was clear. Get out to my connecting street and 1/4 mile up in each direction the road is under 2'+ of water!

I am trapped! Called the boss again and the owner said he would open my store but then found out HWY 31 is closed too.

Better hope that dries soon or you will be in mosquito heaven. I remember how bad it was in North Carolina with Fran in 96 and Floyd in 99.

I used to be in that situation, however when it started to flood, I had to move my car to the highway (1/4 mile away) and start using a boat. The yard was a good 4' higher than the connecting road. It didn't last long though. I know what you're going through. Keep an eye on the water, it will rise faster than you think.

My friends on the Stang site are having a field day! My car is called the "Land Yacht" there so I called it the new Scarab Land Racer and thats spawned this:
