Rear Neon has been out for a few weeks and I had some time to check it out today......
Pulled the rear neon off and found the inverter was missing that is usually attached to the back of the neon? Noticed a box that said "lowglow" bolted inside the access hole of the decklid.
After a few minutes of checking fuses and testing wiring, I found some bare wires that had shorted. Repaired all the wiring, installed new fuses, got the rear lights and brake lights operating again. Still no rear neon
Power to the lowglow inverter, no power coming out, but the lowglow box got hot and the fuse blew again.
My diag. tells me the lowglow inverter box is bad.... Anybody seen or heard of anyone using one of these to power their neon?
