Went to the pull and pay today and grabbed a clutch/brake pedal assy out of a SN95 Mustang. Got the fabrication done to get it mounted to the firewall. I just need to get the hole drilled and reinforced for the cable to go through.

Hope to have it done in 2 months ish.

Excited to see the progress! You going with a 3650? And is that going to be a cable actuated clutch?

I'm not sure Brent.

Ill try, but it may not happen. Too much going on with work to tell fpr certain.

Dan, yes on both parts.

This will leave me enough room to not move the ECM. I also have grown fond of the cable setup after driving the Cobra so often.

I'll be very interested to see exactly where the cable hole is in the firewall, as I also intend to use a SN-95 brake/clutch pedal assembly. I don't care for the clutch feel in my SC, and I love the feel and adjustability in my Cobra.

what me work don't you know i am retired or just tired. if you noticed the cross over tube half in the vice we picked up it to from the black mark cleaned it up. also picked up an alternator support bracket trimed it down as we don't need the bridge for the sparkplug wires. going with cranberry pc on them to clen up the engine a little more. retirement gets boring at times. the garage keeps me sane i thunk. jd

Thanks guys.

Doug, I'll keep you updated for sure.

I think I mak have to modify the quadrant mounting point to move it torwards the passenger side a bit. I'm worried it's going to hit the brake booster. (i've also considered going to hydroboost, but, eh.)

Mike

Got a preliminary hole drilled in the current quadrant location. Needless to say, it's not going to work like this.

I'll be modifying the clutch side of the bracket to move it down one inch and extending the shaft 1.5" torwards the passenger side to get the cable centered between the brake booster and the throttle cable protrusion on the firewall.

I'll be running to Denver next weekend to pickup the trans, flywheel and 11" Cobra clutch. I may have it done sooner than planned.
