finally got new rubber!

saturday morning i am going down to my buddies tire shop to put my new sneakers on my 97. i got some michelin pilot sport PS2's for the car, they feel like drag radials they are so sticky! i'm gonna take a video sometime before i do this , of me burning off the michelin pilots i got on it now that are shot! man, new tires, new rotors, i'm excited!!!

Really though you cant get a better performance tire. Ive had them all and the PS2's were by far the grippiest. They were the ONLY tire that allowed my 03 Cobra to powershift third without making the ass point the direction the nose is supposed to. :lol:

Unfortunatly they are very very very.... did I mention very? soft. They wear very fast. I got prolly 5000 miles out of them with minimal burn outs. Because they are directional AND side specific you cant even swap the wheels they are on.

Excellent tire though.

the ps2's arent directional they are asemetrical. i didnt buy them new, they are slightly used, but still in sweet condition. and i saved a whole heap of money going used, plus he is a buddy of mine, and he hooked me up. he even took them off ebay for me, luckily they didnt have bids, but 12 watchers!! you snooze you lose!

Huh, could have sworn they are both. Oh well, learn something new yet again.

Hell, you might as well get a regular full on drag radial then... They have a 220 treadwear rating though, I'd have imagined they'd have a longer life than that.
