Went up to Jamie's yesterday and he gave me a ride in his new black on black. That thing looks even more amazing in person than on pics. It sounded badazz, and when he got on it that thing was fast! I loved how you can feel both tires grip when the car would shift...it felt just like a Mustang GT does when it shifts. Real nice car to say the least.

Then he fixed my O/D button that wouldn't work. It took him like 5 minutes to fix. Jamie really knows his stuff.

He also looked at my driving issues I've posted about. He found that for whatever reason the previous owner replaced only one side of the bushings on my sway bar so that needs to be replaced. Also one balljoint boot is ripped so that needs to be replaced too.

The steering rack may be on it's way out, but I need to fix the suspension things first to make rule that out.

And finally my torque converter is going to take a crap soon. So I'll start to build up the 98 I bought from him a few months back. I think I'll be getting an Edge converter like Frogman always talked about. Circle D would be my ideal choice but I don't have an extra $400 to spend on a converter...
 
If you need a newly rebuilt rack with all OEM parts, let me know. It's boxed up and ready to go. It was professionally rebuilt back to OEM specs. Rods come with it also. I just don't need it at this point. I thought I would but mine is fine.

Glad to see you got to get a ride in Jamie's like new 97. I know he loves that car.
 
Nolimit I'll let you know about the rack if the other fixes don't work.

Jr...I mentioned to Jamie I should have brought a camera. Guess it didn't happen ;)

It'll be ok Laser. Seeing how I originally got it from you, you do have first dibs getting it back, if you need it or Sapp needs it. It was really one of those deals where I said I would buy so I stuck with my word and bought it when I really didn't need it.

Jamie, you do need a shop cam that we can monitor when we want. I stood in that shop for a while and a lot of :q:q:q:q gets talked about. Jokes are told, Don Vito comes in and everyone cracks on his socks. It's a mad house around there.
 
if i put a web cam in my shop all you :q:q:q:qers would sit on here 24/7, your women would leave, dishes would stack on the counter, mortgage payments would fall deliquent, you would get fat off cheeto's and mt. dew. i would be the cause of a huge epidemic! terry isnt lying though, the shop turns into a mad house, specially on the weekends lol i enjoy being there more than home, thats no joke. i spent this weekend at my house relaxing and i wish i didnt, i feel like if i am not at the shop things are not getting done, even if there is nothing to do! i just dont like sitting around i am not that kind of person, if i am not working i am going out of my mind! a web cam would be some funny :q:q:q:q though!

I forgot he was wanting that car too lol. I thought he might have been mad that I was selling the rack that he sold me. I get confused sometimes. :p

Sorry Laser about the car miss but just know that another Lincoln lover did buy it and it's being taken care of.

and derrik, sorry i didnt call back last night, i didnt go to the car show, i actually came home early and layed in bed and watched tv. the orange tree outside the bedroom window is in bloom, it has white flowers all over it, and it semlls so god dam good that i opened the window, put the ceiling fan on, and layed there all night and watched tv, i havent done that in a long long time!!!
 
Laser, that would be a good idea for the rack. One on each end would be double penetration. :D

Jamie, you and Laser could test it out. I'll set in the car and turn the wheel back and forth. It's a 93 rack so it has the best turning ratio. For you two, that would mean "deeper"
