I think he had it painted in 2006 in "Nordic Blue", unless he has changed it since then. He did add this hood in 2010 and had it painted.

Lol nolimit after I posted that I Google image'd drillers car and came across those same photos in an LVC thread..seems it has been to the body shop a few times in the last few years..I see he added LSC bumpers and trim..I still say the paint looks more vibrant and blue than before..and what happened to that cowl hood..saw he mentioned that it "wasn't fixable"..I love that cowl hood that someone custom built..I like how it just follows the stock lines of the hood.

Yeah, looking at it there does appear that it has been fully repainted. Looks something like an "Electric Blue" I also agree on the grille. Still a pretty car though.

The new paint may have a touch more pearl in it than the factory. Granted the factory paint was 18 years old.

The paint has always had more brilliance in the sun and the new paint shows it even more. Particularly compared to the engine compartment which was never painted.

Looks awesome and love the time line. Makes me glad I have started on so many pics and wat not.
Just because its factory blue doesn't mean much..like he said more pearl either in the base coat or clear coat..not even cars from the factory match one another perfectly.

yeah that, but also my point was you looked through that thread obviously, cuz you had the pictures, but must not have read close enough because he stated he repainted it the factory blue. albeit, with possibly more pearl.
I saw it but like I said, it looked way different, more than just the original paint being a bit faded...but ANYWAYS it looks good I like it better than the original.
