Clear lenses for 93 MKlll

I have an idea for my mark but need new housings for the headlights. Are the clear ones available to fit my 93?

To be clear. I need new headlights. I am looking for the clear ones. Complete. There used to be a guy here that works for a ford dealership that gave good deals. This is all I ask. Or should I just go to the local FLM dearlership and see if I can get them there. If you do not know do not answer. Thanks

Thanks guys for getting back to me. I found a guy that makes custom hid retrofits for $350 a pair and his work is flawless and gauranteed for life! They look like New audi or porche lights when he is done. That is why I need clear assemblies. He can also make clear lenses for an additional $100 per side. I will post upon completion.

Sounds interesting and would like to see them when he's done. Keep in mind that the refractors are different in the clear HID style lenses for the low beam bucket. The HID housing has Lincoln emblems on the inside that are mounted to the refractors and on halogen housings, it's just a simple piece of metal because it can't be seen as well.

Not saying he has to make that emblem but they do need the refractors and you would want them to look nice since they'll be clear and visible inside.

What he will do is paint the bucket black, replace the lens and I am having him install angel eyes with LED lights on the perimiter. The lights do not rely on reflecting off the back as they are projectors.

Ok, so you're having custom housings made with projectors built in with a clear lens? I really do want to see that and at that price, I might put mine up for sale if he's interested in making another pair. Mine aren't even a year old yet and have spent 90% of their life in the garage. I never drive at night, only on rare occasion. They are still in like new condition but what you're talking about sounds like something I would like to have.

Try to keep us informed on this as they're made if you don't mind or PM me later on when some progress has been made on them. I really want to see this.

I am shipping my lights on Monday and will take pics when they come back before and after installation. He says they will be plug and play with a written gaurantee. I will keep you posted.
 
My lights have been shipped and we have a pretty good plan in place.. He will send me pics as the build progresses and I will post them as I get them.

Depending on car color, not so sure I would black out the back, if that makes sense....

I would like to see one with a chrome backing and a black backing or simply car color backing?? Just a thought but really do want to see the outcome when finished.
