ChatRoom is open

wednesday evenings. Most of us have day jobs, and need to get to bed early.

Just how it is, and no need to change the day of the meet either.

no change needed, time wise as we can chat anytime, except to c head and mach 1 intake. spoke with two engine shops and was recommended a full port/polish job on the mark viii heads with the cobra intake and power ratings were fairly close, as estimates. with the swap and the cam looking at over 400 maybe 410, stay with b head with full port job and cobra intake swap around 380either way the shaker hood is gonna get done that deal is almost closed.

There were about 10 to 13 at one time but then all of a sudden, 6 of them decided it was their bedtimes.

Chit, I shouldn't have been on as late as I was.:p I dragged a$$ this morning. I destroy my body on a regular basis at the gym during the week. That's what I do when I'm not destroying my rear tires. LOL

for what you are spending on that N/A gen1 4 valve, you could probably do a coyote swap.

coyote is easily twice as much without the labor min. $5000
"b" heads done on 4.6 750pr
cobra intake with all dodads 400-600
shortblock either buy loooww miles or rebuild/forged 700-1300

or c head which is essentially the same except getting parts c heads 200-300 each, intake complete 650, its too tempting to do shaker it can be used with either style motor 700-800(lights, bells, whistles)

This is pretty...:)

You may want to have this conversation in a tread related to the topic...
:shifty:

And the fact that I brought a link for my old C-head conversion thread back up, and nothing was done with it.

I'll try one more time.

I guess I have a lot better parts sources then. 5,000 for a coyote.....
