If the engine jumped timing, wouldn't it have done damage right away, not wait until I drove another five miles or so?[\QUOTE]
These dont jump time. They break chains and guides but timing jumps are reserved for belts and Chevy 4 bangers.
Sapper had a car that hit a man hole cover in the road. Beat the hell out of the k-member but oil pan was left un touched.
I'm suspecting the starter, so I'll pull it and bench test it. I'll try the breaker bar thing after the starter is out, just in case the starter is stuck in the engaged position.
What a relief if it turns out not to be engine related!
Starters are fragile in these cars. Heavy impact could have broken the internals.
Thats not the only thing I gave you. Should contact a doctor.
I did not know that Lasers "Car ADD" was contagious. He seems to have just passed it to you or he has not been posting his flips.
Meh. Nobody cares. Flipped a few Cadillacs after the Jag. Got a 2000 SLS right now.
i could have told you hanging out with bill is a bad idea....

Or just done with LVC all around. :/
Nah. Just lots of new faces and stupid threads. Figured I would stop chasing people away just cause of ignorance.
