take it to court, see if they will drop it to failure to yield; should save you on the insurance.
If you can find the parts, it shouldn't be too hard to get it looking normal again. But if you want good paint that matches, I think you'll be looking at more than the car is worth. Myself? I'd look into replacing the damaged body panels and trim, taking it to MACO or whatever sh!thole paint shop is in your area and have them spray the replacement parts on the car for $200. In theory, you COULD walk away from it only spending $500... again, depends if you can find the parts. Also depends on if you don't mind having a car with body panels that are not quite the same shade as the rest of the car. Could always sell it once you do your little $500 repair. Maybe end up with $700-$1000 in your pocket? Again... biggest issue is finding the parts
Otherwise, scrap it.
