So I have this concern, but nothing to compare it to.
I just had the breaks on my Mark done. New front rotors and ceramic pads.
When I slam on the breaks, I keep rolling. Even at low speeds. Other Ford cars I've had, when I slam the breaks, the tires lock and skid and the ABS kicks in.
When I slam the breaks in my Mark, the pedal hits the floor, the wheels dont lock or skid (they keep rolling) and the ABS does not kick in.
Breaks seem to work fine and stop well for normal driving, its just when I jam them on (like I would if a kid ran out in front of the car or something).
Any suggestions?
Is this a known or common problem? Did my mechanic miss something?
Any help would be SUPER appreciated.
