Black Sentas

I'll be the first to say it, do not like :shifty: I think they'd look better in silver or even chrome. I've never liked black wheels.

Driving around at slow speeds are not going to tell the tale. Need to hear back after you have it at highway speeds(dips) and even with a passenger in the car.

I imagine there will eventually be some rubbing whenI hit a dip but nothing bad. I very rarely go faster than 50 mph. Lol. I spend most of my driving time stuck in traffic or at stoplights. Traffic here is retarded. I avoid the highways around me because they are all toll roads and of course, they recently doubled the toll cost.
The ride is a lot stiffer with the smaller side wall and the brakes (which suck to begin with on these cars) are weaker since the wheel weight is a bit more.

Stainless steel brake lines will help with "some" of that pedal feel.

That's one bad bitch! The words blacked out are taken to another level here.

Any of us white LS owners have the balls to powder coat white???:shifty::shifty: Might go BK with all the car washes...:D

Yes Rod....we know you do not like gen 1's and and also do not like black wheels. Guess that makes my LS truly simply f***** in your eyes. LOL.

Sweet looking ls right there! I can appreciate black wheels, I like how you left a little contrast with the chrome plugs or whatever they are.

I'm with ROD. I can appreciate the work someone put into the car, it's way better then stock. But I'm also not a fan of black wheels.

JRT. Have you ever thought about tinting the headlights?? I was just thinking everything on your car is so rich in color and so dark. And then in those pics your headlights look light and dated. I wouldn't black then out or anything. But a nice smoked tint could make them look black and not grey. Or if you ever do angel eyes. Paint the inside a deep dark black while there open.

I plan to do this to mine. Because when I look at my dads red ls the headlights look so dark and black. But on my black car since the black paint is well black lol it makes the headlights look lighter. I like them dark! Well see. I am doing it, it's just a matter of when.

Btw I know I said I'm not a fan of black wheels. But I hope I don't see you in Naperville ever because your car is deffinately a head turned and if I saw it I'd probably not be able to stop looking and get in a wreck or something lol

I have considered a really light tint for my headlights. I will probably eventually just buy another pair of headlights (if I find a set for cheap) and have them lightly tinted and install angel eyes. Upgrading the lighting to HID/LED is my next project for the car. I am in no hurry though.

Looks incredible!!!!!! Really ove the look. To bad you live in Chi-town. Remove that front plate in a heartbeat. BUT local PD would have you pulled over every 5 minutes.:(

What size tires did you go with?

You definitely need to make it down for the meet. Help a brother out. Anyone willing to share a room?:D

I was going to remove the front plate and install a retractable bracket but when I took the factory bracket off, the bumper was in bad shape behind it. I figured I could just plug the holes and be okay, but when they installed it originally they damaged the bumper. It has a small crack and it looks like there is a metal support behind it near the hole that is pushing the bumper out. Eventually, it will be fixed/replaced once the LS is retired from its daily driver duties.

Like marcredd said, I have 245/35R20 dunlop tires. I am going to try and make it to STL for the meet in June. I have family in Alton and friends in the city so I wouldn't need a room.
