Yep, worked on them for years and sold parts for them almost as long. I finally caught the Mark VIII bug! Black on Black '97 LSC.

I have quite a few things to do to it to get "Black Betty" where I want her. The a/c needs work, it has a coolant leak, brake vibration.....and what a shock....a air suspension leak!

That's a pretty car.
You'll enjoy it. It's a magnificent cruising vehicle.

very nice choice eddie, i like you more now!! and dont feel bad, i started parting them out in 1999, but i didnt own one until 2004 since then i have owned 9 of them myself!! i have a slight mark bug too. great looking ride. enjoy it.

Way to go, Eddie!

I saw that car advertised, it looked really clean.

Welcome to the 'what did you do to your MarkVIII today (and tomorrow, and the day after)' threads...:D

Thanks guys. I used to get to drive these things every once in awhile when I was a tech, but never for very long. I can definately see the attraction for this car!

Its the first car I've owned in about 7 years. The biggest thing to get used too is having to look up for everything again. Its feels like I'm sitting on the ground. I live in the boonies and the "shortest" thing I've driven for the last 7 years is an AWD '06 Explorer. My daily ride is a 6 inch lifted 2000 F-350 Turbo Diesel!

BTW Jaimie and Laser, I like your rims. What are they called?

eddie, who will you be having fix your air ride??? lol welcome to the mark viii bug

You won't "see" much for awhile on the outside. Still have plenty to do before its where I want it mechanicaly.

I have to say it cause noone did........... NOOB! The airride is supposed to leak when you first buy it. Beautiful car man.
