You can't fix it cheap enough to make it worth $2500. Maybe $1K at most.

Brand new tires, very good rims, brand new factory front air bags, new rear tail light conversions, very good interior just to name a few all worth more than $ 1,500.

You must show pictures on here before anyone will even be remotely interested. Digital camera pics preferred and show damage. Show the good and the bad and don't hide anything. You might just make the sale.

When you replaced the front and rear air suspension parts, were they OEM from Ford or some aftermarket brand?

Interior pics would also help you. You can't just list a car with front end damage and expect a sale.Take a lot of pics, upload to PhotoBucket or the like and then post them here.

And what do you know? There are people on here that can fix things beyond YOUR imagination and make it worth the $2500 he's asking. You haven't even seen it yet, so don't judge what it could be worth, especially with it being from a non rust area and a one owner.

there are people who can make it so you can't even tell anything happened.
besides, unless you know something i dont, the front end damage may not be so bad.

Pretty much.

Can't tell my car was wrecked anymore. Plus, it just has to hit that crash sensor and its over.

Sorry, can't agree with you there. I think you took it too far!

Except for the boo boo, thats one clean car.

I have to agree with this one.

Truth be told most of us on this site know how to rebuild the damage on this car...

This is the link from the ad on craigslist.

Pro's: Easy rebuild, Collector's Edition, Fl. Car, very clean.
Con's: Pennsylvania Salvage Title, obvious accident damage, need's air ride fixed or replaced, 149k.

I think all in all, this car is worth about $1,600.00.
No disrespect to the owner, we are entitled to our opinions, that's the price I'd pay. No less, no more! Good solid car but it needs too much money to be whole again, it will always be a salvage title vehicle & you can't take back the 149,000 miles it already has. However, YES, it's definitely worth more than $1k.

The lowest he'll take is $1500. Sorry, but that is too much. We are all looking at the pictures and it don't look that bad, but what you don't see is possible core support damage. The hidden damage is always the most. I just finished putting my Mark back together that had front end damage. This car will need a bumper cover, grille, header panel, condenser, radiator, probably both light housings (the mounting tabs will most likely be broken), two front crash sensors (can't use the originals anymore) drivers airbag, passenger airbag, probably a new SCIL, because the impact could've possibly shorted it out. I see over $2K with the parts I've just listed. I wouldn't buy unless I had a parts car.

Bill is my personal friend. The guy took great care of the car. I looked at it a month ago. The core support is crashed in as well as the radiator. The A/C still works! I t has new ford air shocks at all four corners along with a whole new front end. I really don't know why the air ride is down in the pics. You are correct about the headlights. They are toast. He is so meticlous with it that he washed it before he put the cover back on it. I feel it is worth $1500 if you strip it completely or if you want a pristine gray Collectors interior. It's really a shame that it has the salvage title. Other than the accident, you would think it had 49000 miles on it.

I would drive my truck down there, but It would definitely have to be worth my while. Anybody who buys this will spend more than $3k total. The amount is unknown, and with a salvage title. This is why nobody is jumping on it.

Someone needs to buy this car and save it from the crusher. It does look super clean as My Great 8 said. I'd buy it in a second if it was closer to me. Florida to Missouri is a long way to trailer one. I agree $1500 sounds a little high if you were going to fix it. If you were considering parting it, the steering wheel, and shifter alone bring alot more $ than regular Mark stuff. It would be a shame to see it parted being it is a CE. Why did it have a salvage title?

I wish I had the extra cash right now as I would come and buy it and trailer it back to Canada. I would fix it but I would have to stop along the way to buy the big parts for it before I come over the border as Mark parts are hard to come by up here unless it is a first gen then it is a bit easier but not by much.

Can anyone confirm that only 6 CE cars were shipped to Canada?

It would cost more to fix it than the car is worth. It has a Pa. title but spent all its life in So. Florida.

id take the broken headlight housings I need some parts from them if he wants to sell them :)
