Ok I put a new alternator on my 97 lsc and now it makes a loud humming noise and has a burning smell. Did I get a bad alternator? Its a new alternator. Or did I put something back on wrong?:confused:

I drove to St Louis and back today(1hr 30min one way) after about a hour all my interior lights and radio shut off then turn back on and I hear a loud clunk noise and it says check traction control. Turn off car and everything is ok. On my way back it dose the same thing except it keeps doing it...

97 LSC. When it gets below freezing my door will not unlock. The pass side works fine and the drivers has to be open from the inside. It tries to unlock but it wont pop up unless I open from the inside. What can I do to fix this?

If one of the rear air bags on a 97 has a leak will the whole rear drop? Im having issues with the rear of my car sitting on the ground when I park somewhere where its heavy on the back. Like a small down slop.

I can not figure out why my interior lights wont work when I turn on my headlights. Is their a switch somewhere that might have come bad that tells the interior lights to come on when the headlight are on? I have switched out the dimmer switch 3 times but no luck. Every once in awhile they work...

My local tire shop told me they needed to be replaced soon but they dont doit cause Lincoln uses some kind of sensor. Plus I've been hearing a noise up front every time I hit a bump. How hard and what do I need to replace these? Any help would be great. Thanks.

So I found a almost complete interior on CL the other day for $250. I went to STL today and picked it up. I got both door panels, both back panels, Front drivers seat(no track), Pass seat with track, Complete back seat, All in like new condition no rips or tears for a 97/98 LSC Grey interior...

My pass seat wont stay in the up position plus the motor is bad anyway to manualy move it forward? Its a 97

Ok my 97 lsc. I put in some new mid bass in the rear and now I only have highs but no mid bass. Is their a fuse or something? and when I turn my radio on it make a pop noise. Any help please
