Hi all, I'm still totally down with Stinkin's questions. I can't help but observe that according to most accounts that I read, these tunes twiddle a bunch of constants in the ECM, resulting in no perceptible difference in performance. Based on the testimony :) on the boards, the XCal does...

Rock Hill, south of town just over the border in SC. I did a consulting gig at Bowater Paper near Rock Hill in 1999 and had an apartment there where I stayed during the week. It was a nice little town, but come to think of it, that was 7 years ago. :)

Comments on the 2006 300C vs the 2006 LS Sport ... The 2006 300C was one of the cars in my short list and I drove one twice last February, comparing it with the 2006 LS Sport (which I wound up buying). The 300C is much quicker than the LS. No getting around the extra 60 HP, and the cars...

I'm down for the duct tape on the air intake, but the rest? Pffft! ;)

Very slightly stiffer on my '06, not at all like a sports suspension, though. A little tighter in corners. I did not do the alignment kit, but will rotate tires more frequently. Note that I am still on the stock 17" wheels and stock grand touring tires.

Let me add just a little to Sedated's good advice and warn you about one thing. The warning first: I would never recommend anyone use the old-style rubbing compounds on modern clear-coat paint jobs. You will haze the the clear-coat if you do and will have to work like he!! with finer...
