I feel like you got very lucky, or used way too much force and were boarder line of breaking it. I put ALLOT of force on my c-clamp, (put a closed end wrench to use as a torque multiplier) and it still did not budge. Maybe I could have put more into it, but I was definitely afraid.

just a random post, did my rear brakes today... you CAN NOT use a C-clamp. You CAN NOT use the generic 4 sided cube thing from advance auto parts. I bought the kit that was shown above from harbor freight, 20$ is a deal. I did however have to put a wrench on the end of it for more torque...

Hey guys, yes there is a million threads here about the coil pack issues on the LS's however there is not a ton of info on the v6. I have a 2000 ls v6 5sp with about 102 on the clock. Somewhere I found instruction with pictures about how to do this job but I can't seem to find them anymore...

wow this is bs, how are they determining there is a race head on the car, I would blow them the hell out. I would be yelling, and demanding proof. go pull the damn head, bring it in and tell them 1. fix it under warenty, and 2. go f yourself while you do it.

Forced induction can be cheap, my other ride has a holset hx35/40 turbo with custom manifold, downpipe, external gate, standalone fuel and spark, msd, cam, nitrous, huge ic, 1000cc injectors, and all of that still cost less then then 4 grand. They are talking about a charger, bracket, tune...

are they really 4 grand???

I replaced the sway bar bushings about 10-15k ago, do you guys think they could have gone out again? They are the 2 piece bushings.

I apologize the kid that was supposed to show up with the wheel never showed. After some measuring I think the wheels would have to be +10 to fit, I am looking into any other possible ways that I might be able to get them to fit.

I have not forgotten about this thread, I made a post in our local forum, at the meet on friday one of the mustang guys is going to let me test out one of his wheels for fitment. They are only the 17X9's but I think that will give me a very good idea if this has a possibility of working. Eamonn
