I didn't know the 5.7 Ram had dual plugs and coils! Good thing they use Mopar coils and not Ford ones or I would be taking a second mortgage to keep it running. I have a 95 Chrysler LHS that has never had a coil go bad, unlike the Lincoln LS....

Nice Jeep. ditto. Even with the 432hp hemi, I have trouble believing the 3.8 seconds, 4.5 to 5 seconds sounds more realistic. Either way, it's, unfortunately, faster than my LS.

Can the seller give you a list of items that have been fixed? Is it a perfect car? No, but closer than most. Does it have excessive maintenance/repair costs? My opinion is still - No.

I would agree with everyone above but even with the few known common problems the LS is a very reliable car and definitely cheap now days. Very safe too. I doubt that your friend will be pushing it's power train, electronics, breaking, tires etc. like most of us probably do, so I vote yes get...
