heres a link to my car at the track from last fall.
YouTube - lincoln mark viii
The popping at the end of the track is it sitting on the limiter for the last 150 ft. Going to a taller tire now and locking the converter early in 3rd. That pass was only an 11.51 @ 110 mph.
I have a 94 mark with a 98 cobra intake that is ported and had intake runners shortened with IMRC deletes. Even though supercharged, it makes alot of jam down low with the 4.30's and 3500 stall.
Listed for sale is my 1988 rare mustang T-top car. Only 417 produced in 88 the last year for T-top mustang foxes.the car is a great solid project car. The car is dissasymbled but have most parts except for engine and trans to re-assymble. Comes with a tubular K member, coil overs, caster camber...
I tow all the time with my aviator, I average 10-12 mpg towing my 4200 lbs mark viii and a heavy 1800 lbs car trailer. Ive driven duramax 3/4 ton truck pulling the same thing same trailer thet didnt tow as good as the aviator. Mine is awd.
Ive only had my mark at the track since the complete brake upgrade and it had been three years since i drove the car last. But from what i can remember it mad a significant differance. The car stopped on a dime at a 114 mph trap speeds.
unless you make custom caliper brackets i think your s.o.l.. I did the complete hub swap. It was very easy and i had a set of 17'' wheels ready for it. Mustang bolt patern.
The whole intake gets swaped for the supercharger and intercooler set up. To the best of my Knolege the air inlet is on the same side as the mach/maruder. An elctric fan must be fitted because af alt. relocation. throttle cables should be ok just have to upgrade the fuel system.
This spring i am fitting a 2.2l kenne bell kit on my avaitor. a twin screw or a roots seems much more logical than a vortech or a turbo on an suv that is very heavy. plus mine is an every day driver and a tow rig for my 4200 lbs mark viii. Twin screw or a trilogy roots is much more fun to drive...
94 mark
male, 21
500 mainly hwy
I loved it until I made a rod look like a pretsle. water doesnt compress well but has lead me to the big build up
not coming with a supercharger and gears stock
4.5 doesnt compare to my old awd talon in the MI snow
