to put a vortech for a 97 cobra on a stock 93-96 mark 8 engine, is the intake tube going to the throttle body the only part that would have to be fabricated ?

Most of the folks have used the Cobra intake when using the Vortech set up

i know. im asking them about the rest of the install. if everything else was pretty straight forward ? i can make an intake tube to run to the throttle body

I believe you can, that black fast mark viii on street fire ran the stock mark viii intake for a while with his vortech.

for simplicity sake, no IC. (not my thread, but he wants simple)

Cool... I've often wondered about that.

If I'm reading correctly, if we nix the intercooler, basically a 96-97 Vortech will bolt up as designed and the only thing that will need fabbed is the tube to the TB?

Does it clear the radiator? Any other mounts need to be fabbed?

if i remember you have to make a bracket coming off of the alternator or for the alternator...not sure read it somewhere but can't find it now. Talk to geno at lms he does em.
