Finally got the tint done today. To stay legal I went with 35%, not to dark but will keep me under the radar.......Cant wait for winter to be over to drop her and get it kitted......

I like 35.... shoulda taken the 3rd brake light out so they didnt have to go around it.... maybe you can get a little piece and do it yourself.... nice work though, looks good (as the 2nd best LPG)

looks darker than the 35 i had before (maybe because mine was old, idk)
i was gonna say the same about the 3rd brake light. after seeing mine with it covered, i wont go back to having it uncovered when the windows get retinted. gen1 3rd brake lights are ugly to me

they are so huge looking from the out side and a strange shape most are low and more rectangular

tint hides it well enough... or you can do the 2nd gen conversion...

I don't mind it, i would have rather it not been cut out, but its not something i'm overly dissatisfied with.....you only have the #1 LPG Ls title till spring comes so hold on to it tight..lol
Yea thats coming after the winter, hopefully it will be a little better then just coils.....
their not the best looking that's for sure..lol

Looks good. I got a 25 and it doesn't look much darker then that.

thanks, there is a dip in my driveway, the front drivers tire is in when i took that pic, i think that's the reason its sitting so high up on the one side...

no tint is legal. i figured if they would give me a ticket for 35 i should just do 20 so that's what i did
also you should of had the third brake light out it looks a little funny

What are the specifications for aftermarket window tinting?
For most vehicles, aftermarket tinting that registers at least 35% on a tint meter on side windows immediately adjacent to the driver and front passenger seats, and side windows immediately to the rear of the operator and passenger, is acceptable. The rear window may be tinted to the 35% level, but the vehicle must be equipped with two outside rear view mirrors. The windshield may only be tinted down to the AS-1 line, which is usually located in the uppermost (6) inches of the windshield.
So no not all tint is illegal.........

Thanks, really appreciate it. It does add a sense of from the factory equipment. its clean and not over the top, but breaks up the truck just enough.

It just looks darker because its wet.
Glad to see you doing the EVO kit. I have been VERY interested in seeing more of it. I only know of one LS with it. The owner doesn't reply to any e-mails or PMs.
When you install it. Get some good shots. Could use the pictures to help future porjects for members.
The owner did have it dark blue with marblelized paint. Then went with the all white. I really like the all white with the black roof and whtie wheels. Much better looking. Still needs to paint the rear surround and headlight bezels. McLaren grille would look a lot cleaner too.
