Sorry, there was no old one. It got jacked when the previous owner had it.
Could've scrounged a JY emblem and made it look really nice that way though, not to mention saving a buncha cash by doing so.

Did you have to redo the chrome in the emblem? The one I have has the chrome Lincoln emblem messed up, so I am trying to figure out what to paint it.

the middle chrome insert is just a chrome sticker... all you have to do is remove it. and paint it.
Or you can get some chrome tape, and put it back in to look stock.

Stupid question but it's hot outside and I have yard work to do! Do you have to take the light bar thing off the trunk lid, figured I can do this later when it cools down.

What do you use to remove the chrome? and the red stuff?
For emblems with messed up chrome, I sand-blast it and then polish the part that would normally be red. I leave the star "frosted-looking" (from the sandblasting), and just paint the 2 different colors.
If the chrome is still ok, I just sand off the red stuff and polish it up, and then paint it. A little time-consuming, but turns out real nice...
