Well at least its going to a good home. He was a very problematic car though and I am sure you will have more fun with the next one.

no, never.... we were made for each other... there will be others... but none like Tux..

It hasn't even been 12 hours and I want to feel his exhaust again, there is no feeling in the world like his dual in dual out cross over muffler right under the console ... rub his hood... nail him and jerk my head back, i just love his posi and gears...

I can't afford him, and can't neglect him... I agree he is in good hands, but there's now way another Mark could bring me more pleasure then Tux...we got history.

I don't know G, heck I still don't know if I can make it. It's been an expensive year! If not me driving, and if other events will allow, I am even looking for someone to hook up and go with. I'd really hate to miss out on seeing everyone and meeting you too!! lol

I never thought I would see the day when you sold Tux. What went wrong with it that you had to sell?

Ok - it's settled I am going to Boscobel with Brent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't care about my girlfriends wedding, he's an idiot anyway they will be divorced in a year.

K-FAN, yeah, I've had to let two go to the salvage, at least I know Tux will be pampered ;)

lsc8 - that was not even in the most remote frame of mind funny..... gave me a dang heartattack!

Marked, Diesel, once Mike got a look at him and assessed the work needed, well, the cost is more than I can dole out considering I have already put 2,000. in him this year... I couldn't even drive him the front end won't come up for nothing, last week and for the last two years I have fought air ride and other electrical issues, and I am not referring to a bad wire, I mean new alternator every year, new battery every two, can't lock doors with remote or button without alarm going off (have to use manual), headlights wont come on, the latest is the nice oil spill he left in the driveway the last 3 days (forgot to mention that Mike... sorry!!!) ... in which his nose rested 3"offa the garage... I give... I'm broke...

slow - he hasn't died!!!! but yeah, memories will be nice, but knowing that he is still in the family is a comfort!

I must admit Mike is a cunning businessman... he made me a deal I couldn't refuse. You don't see anyone following Mike do you?? ;) ;)

Jeb and I have already talked about wetsanding and re-clearing the whole car.

Hey Mike where's the car cover while you drive it to CO ... Oh and don't forget to wipe off the dust every 10 miles.
 
Sorry about you losing Tux Debi. I remember getting to ride in it during 2006 and it was one of the nicer 1st gens I had seen at the time. Unfortunately the ravages of age takes a toll on not only us but our cars. That is why when I bought the current red/black one from that friend of yours I decided to have it as a non daily driver and to work on it when I could. I have done so much to it that the previous owners head would spin.
