Standard here .. Dont want the gen 2 either, I like my mach 1! Guess that makes it standard with a little modification..
 
Still stock front end here too... Want the LSE but will probably get a new grille and maybe eyebrows instead. Damn why do OEM HIDs have to be so expensive too?

I made some with bulb sockets I bought from www.suvlights.com. Just get a male socket that plugs into your factory fog harness, and a female socket for the fog lights. Also, my sockets came with pigtails to connect them.

the gap is really only noticeable if your looking for it and are up close and doesn't really bother me

i was lookin into them myself. Perhaps i would reconsider if they are not of quality. Also, if they are those ones, do they have gray sealant? or the black sealant that you have to bake to take apart?
(the ones with the preinstalled clear corners and the preinstalled hids cause the shipping is free on that one. (spend 15more bucks than what the one with out them is but 15 bucks for low beam hids? why not?)

yes the code is for v-leds

i got the ones from the first link, and quite honestly, for being brand new headlights and only having them for less then a year, i feel that they shouldn't have leaked like they did, so as far as quality....mine need to be re-sealed already and the black weatherstripping that goes around the headlight fell off the day i bought them, i contacted them but they never responded back, oh and they also have gray sealant i believe

hail damage..... and we just had hail a few days ago so theres actually more now :( :mad:

i did buy it like that though, just haven't been able to find a hood for a reasonable cost, and i don't want to buy a new one from ford

You get what you pay for........ The hood is aluminum and a poor fitting one will be tough to manipulate.
 
Yup, I got a fiberglass hood for $150. The paint is terrible on it and is orange peeled to hell. Should have kept searching for an OEM.

I want to get my car wrapped in vinyl, so that is the only reason I haven't gone out of my way to get a new one yet.

didn't you also have problems with the hood fitting properly, or am i just making stuff up? lol
 
Naw it fits correctly, But I had to pull the fenders in to even the gaps up. That was more of the wreck tweaking the front than the shape of the hood.
