well, i did fix it, but i am not 100% sure what it was. the clunk that was pissing me off with my front brakes is gone. i stopped on my way home from work and got new caliper pins and rattle clips for my front cobra calipers, pulled it in my garage, changed all that crap, and this is where i had a brain fart, i have had 1/4 inch spacers on my car since the day i bought it, never had a problem. since i put the black speedstars on the noises in the front have been worse than when i had the chrome ones on it, i noticed tonight when i took the lug nuts off, they really werent threaded on all that much on the studs, the chrome ones seemed like the hub area was thinner, but i took the spacers off so the lug nuts would go on all the way, and the :q:q:q:q is gone, no more noises, so either the spacers were the problem, or the caliper hardware was, or a combo of both, either way i am glad it is fixed now it doesnt sound like the car is gonna snap in half when i stop!!!
 
what really sucked is i tore into the front end of the car like 4 different times and couldnt for the life of me figure it out, thats why i was so pissed because there isnt a whole lot on a mark VIII that i cant figure out, and something like a noise in the front come on!!!
 
First. You fuggin douche! All this time we have been trying to help figure out your front end noise and you never thought to tell us you had spacers on the front? ARGH!!!! :mad:

Second, did you have all four clips before?
 
yes i did have all 4 clips but they would barely stay on the pads themselves. and i have said many times on here that i ran 1/4 inch spacers in the front, even in one of your threads where everyone was talking about spacers and you said you didnt run them on your white mark, and i wrote in that thread that i did run them in the front, so suck a fart out of my ass, and besides, no one ever asked me if i had them either!!!

Everyone here has ADD. You should have included it in your bitch sessions. Lick my taint! :p

Anyway, loose clips would also do it. Glad its sorted out. On the other hand I wanted to see what a black second gen looks like on fire....... oh wait, GMAN already showed us that. :lol: :( :(

I have that same pic on my walk in garage door just to let the wife know what i think about her bothering me.
 
lol well if you look hard at my avatar pic its the same pic with a message to Calvin at the .ORG lol. bill that was funny too but wrong at the same time, besides, greg needs to take lessons from terry if he wants to burn a car, terry didnt go out like no bitch!!
 
If you had Cobra hubs your car would stop better and drive smoother... had all the same problems with Stack's car... put on Cobra hubs and instantly everything was WAY WAY WAY better.
 
learn what? did you not see in the title i fixed the problem, and it cost me $8.39 cents, show me cobra hubs and wheels for under $10 bucks.
