He's as straight up as straight up can be and yes, he can be an ass sometimes but really he means nothing by it, although you didn't mention that but I did lol.

He's not going to jail and he's not sick or anything like that. He works his ass off all week welding for a total pecker head and puts in long hours. During work and off work, he's always getting calls and text messages about Mark VIII's. "what's the problem with this, how do I fix that, ect..."

He works at a shop that's rented for parting out Mark VIII's and on top of that, he tries to do side jobs for the nearby Florida people so that he can make extra money. He had about 4 different sets of headlights from members here that were patiently waiting and more car stuff that can't even be explained.

This has been building and building for a while now. Keep in mind, he has 2 kids at home and a wife. The life he was living was meant for a single man with no other interest except messing with Mark VIII's and making money and not sleeping and then going to work all week. Make sense?

He just had a kid that needed to go to the hospital today with pneumonia and I haven't heard from him since this morning but he needs a break from internet, cars, side work so that he can study on having a real family life. I can't come on here and speak every word for him because it's not my place to do so but it all boils down to him just needing a break and chilling the hell out. Attention is needed at home.

Thats very understandable. He is keeping it real and taking care of his own.

Who cannot be an ass?:lol: I know how working all the time goes, some people do not know when a break is needed. At least he figured it was time to stop for awhile and concentrate on what's matters to him the most. Hope his kid gets better.
 
You know? I always asked myself when this BOMB would explode!!! As I learned more about Jamie, I realized last year he is a family man. When he stated he was headed to the keys with his wife & kids I was uphauled by his excess time on LVC & especially with all his time in the shop... When he was busting my balls about getting married, etc... I knew that would come back to bite him! A hobby is a hobby, not your life! I love these Mark VIII's & love teo devote time to them but there's no way I will let them consume me! I currently have the IAC still broken on my 93 & the 97 needs a world of work yet they just sit there, why? FAMILY COMES FIRST!!! I'm about to start building mine this Saturday when I get married!

JAMIE, IF YOU READ THIS BUDDY, PRIORITY!!! Enjoy your family, cars will be here when you get back but you never know when family dissapears!!! Go have fun! Enjoy your wife & kids! DO YOUR THING!!!
 
Like Alex says family comes first in every aspect. I had a family I had a good wife she was a great person, she bought me a house...she bought me the Mark 8 that I totalled she loved me and she was crazy about my little girl and I lost her for being stupid, her name was Jackie shes a teacher, right now she has her own family she just had a baby girl...so I know shes gone forever. If only I would of done things different If I would of made my family my first priority I wouldnt be alone at this moment. I would have the greatest person beside me. So forget about LVC for a while put the hobby aside and pay attention to your family b/c ones they are gone you'll regret it for the rest of your life. And you dont want that on your soul. Best of luck buddy and I hope everything takes a turn for the better.

Yeah, saw it, after I posted. He's just trying to regain sanity I think, but he still has loose ends around here that force him to have limited communication.
