Tis very fun.

First with some arrows and then some bird, buck and a riffled slug shot. :D

Wow, there was and still is alot of good parts on that car. And we talk about the shameful crushers. Shameful, shameful, shameful!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just the pannels are dammaged and they were already dammaged. The dash and steering wheel are sitll good and still gonna be pulled. The rest of the car is gutted and the only parts left to pull are the steering wheel, dash and quarter windows. Everything else is junk.

Ya, thats not the old green car, that looks to be one of sapper's shells.

You could probably sell the LCA's and Torx bolts for ~$100 on TCCoA.com, SCCoA.com, or eBay, the T-Bird guys use them. If I didn't already have a couple of sets in stock at the moment, I'd buy them.

The Knuckles are worth ~$50/pair.

And the front spindles are also in some demand for 89-92 T-Bird's as an upgrade that's required to use newer/larger brakes. $100+/pair.

If you don't want to bother with the larger items, I could use the 4 Torx Bolts and Nuts.

That's a damn shame. :(
Dude, that car was toast. Every bushing was rotten, rear shocks blown, all ball joints bad, ABS bad, vac leaks, rear end spewing oil, front wheel bearings shot, trans leaking from every orfice, bad seat motors, bad window regulators etc etc etc. I made another car live on and helped some othe members on here as well. Served its purpose in life.
There was a reason that car only cost $300, it was on its last legs.

some just aren't worth saving.
and man is it fun to blow something up that has caused you alot of work. :D

I could use the door handles..if they are still available.

I still think it's a damn shame. I donated my black 98 to a high school auto mechanic shop. It's just in it for me to do that to a car.

I had my 96' for so long (209k) that when the trans finally went I couldn't bring myself to scrap it :(

Luckily I found someone on here that wanted it and he fixed it up and resold it.

Just waiting to see what my 2nd Gen brings in the end

That's a shame... sucks that Mark Viii's dont sell as quickly as "rollers" as mustangs do... That woulda made a nice start for someone. mustang rollers go for more, in far worse shape...

But I agree with a few peeps on here.. I find it hard to destroy a car, unless it has absolutely no parts left on it, rotted out, mangled shell of a car... then we blast it to pieces, lol

Door dings can be fixed with filler, instead of arrows, lol

But hey, atleast it looked fun to do!

I could almost understand why you all did this, with scrap prices up (atleast around here) It's a quicker way to make the money back, without getting beat to death on trying to sell every tiny part off of it and getting lowballed.

The bow is a Mathews Switchback Xt, right hand, 29" draw, set at 80#s with a speed cam, barracuda cable and string, Mathews drop away rest, Mathews sight. I use GoldTip arrows with muzzy broadheads. Broadheads don't go thru cars very well but the field tips got full car penetration lol. The car will be gutted of everythings else before it gets hauled off, I'm still usin the carpet and maybe the dash and steering wheel, or I'll sell em

Yes it's fun to blow stuff up to releave stress, or whatever. Pretty much everyone agrees that the car was trashed. Every panel had dents, even the roof is dented. I deffinatly don't want 2 gen1s so I wasn't goin to fix it, and with all the problems, neither would anyone else. It's worth more as scrap than to fix up another money pit. It served well, my car is running perfect and I've very pleased.

I thought it cost $600:shifty:
It did cost us $600 but GMAN bought it for $300.
That's a nice bow.. PSE?

I have a PSE X-force Axe.. Bows FTW
Dont know. It is for sale though and is a fargin nice bow. I really dont know much about them but spent many hours starring at them in Gander Mountain trying to figure out if I wanted one. Sappers is a bit nicer then all the ones I saw there.
That's not how to take off the door handles ..

The drivers door handle was gone when we got the car and the passenger side has a crack in it.

Yeah the rest of the car was scrap. As I said there are a few more pieces to pull off and I guess I will pull the rest of the stuff DLF talked about even though nobody wanted to buy those same parts that I have had sitting in my storage for a year.
The pannels have creases in them, not just dings so the work/cash needed to make that car clean again would have been over $3000 and the car really was shot. :(

Short of a trans I have enough parts to completly reassemble that car and still have spares!

And Greg, I debated putting the pics up cause I knew you would be bummed. Car served its purpose though. When I first saw the car here and went through it all I kept thinking was we would have been better off buying the low mile engine from the junk yard for the same price.
The only good thing about that car was it ran and shifted nice and the seats were kina ok. The rest was trashed. Everything under it was in need of replacement. Jamie wouldnt have even touched that car to part out.

We thank you though for your involvement. Where as we only wanted its motor it turned out its transmission was better so we used it. Also the seats helped make Sappers work and now he dont have that ugly ass seat covers any more. Also salvaged parts of the console and made a decient one from it and Sappers old parts. Its coil kit helped me get replacement working air ride stuff for mine since its air ride was worn.
Have the rest of the stuff for sale so the loans can be repaid which will allow Sapper to not have to spend his whole tax return and get his wife a desperatly needed car so they dont have to both rely on only a 18 year old Lincoln.
