So here it is, I couldn't stand that base trim. A Gen II simply doesn't cut it with base trimming in chrome. The finishing result was simply marvelous!!!

much better!

Clear it?

Nope, no clear on it yet. Ran out of time. Plus, not worth it to be honest with you. The rest of the car needs a paint job. Right now it's shiny enough that it matches the rest of the car.

Very nice!! What's next??

Well, I will be straightening out the exhaust tips in the rear! It looks retarded. Also I will be taking off that water hose faucet they placed on the water line & filling the hole with JB WELD.
I will be fixing it by end of this week! (It's pouring in Miami today so it will have to wait until I'm good & ready.)

looks good. you should have painted the roof instead though.

He painted the roof the other day. It just needs to shine!

(Look at the 2 first pictures, notice the diferrence?) Like Rich stated above... I gave it 2 coats of primer then one big coat (whole can) on the roof. Yes, it needs more paint on the roof but at least that nasty looking stain is gone!

A lot better.. I agree with the needing a buff..

Not much more can be done to the current paint job. A good buff won't make all the nasty scratches dissapear. It's a long exterior project I plan to enjoy!

looks good! good job!

Thanks dude!

LOOOLLOLL

Jamie your killing me.

Looks nice UltimateSVT, best thing you can do to a gen 2 base.

Looks way way better.

Hate the spiderman (snowflake) wheels but on a second gen they look really ..... terrible.

those were wheels that were in my shop, it had no wheels on it so we had to do something besides spares lol!

Is that the car that the hood flipped up on?

So Jamie, why teh hate for it?

I've never understood the hatred for the poor car... Honestly, i thikn it's like the ugly duckling, lol...

Oh & yes, this is the famous car with the flipped hood!

Laser, as far as the snowflakes? BLAAHHHHHH!!!!I hear ya but, like Jamie said, better those than none at all. I plan on painting them black (leaving the chrome lip) like i did to my 20 spoke OEM's 2 years ago. Not that it would look 100% better but it would increase it from looking -60% better to about -54% better... You do the math! lol

I just realized last night that these Mark VIII's are like whores! They go around & we use them, abuse them, flaunt them, enjoy them, look at them, step on them, etc... This mark VIII has seen jamie's hands, my hands & Rich's hands & yesterday during conversation with Rich, he currently owns a parts car which when he described, I was like.... "WTF?!?!?!?" It's the car I stripped for it's black carpet. It's a originally white Mark VIII/painted black with a front end collision. I went to Miami Horsepower & fast cars. It was parked out on the side of the warehouse just rotting away, go figure!

i'm only giving alex a hard time bill i dont hate the car, but he doesnt like me busting his balls. in fact he sent rich a text while me and him were in the junkyard saturday and my reply to him was get the sand out of your vagina. i just like giving him shyt.

LOL!!!!! I just came from Miramar and removed most of the interior from that car. I'm going to attempt to pull a GMAN and put the gen 2 seats in my '93

lets see if fa gatron gives megahomo that gas tank he was crying for. i'm not so gay now am i?

hey alex listen to ponch...
