I have also taken to that anytime Jamie calls me I have to refer to him as God. And all the PMs I send him have the subject of "To GOD, from Dan" lol

He told me last night I'm gonna love the box he sent the compressor in, he also said he wishes that I would have given him my work address. Basically something like he sent the compressor in giant kotex box or adult diapers or somethign like that, we shall see.

damn dood!!! by the time i come get the car from you i'll not only owe you all the black 1st gen crap but i'll have to give you money too!! its a good thing you are leaving that dealership in a week or they would have fired your ass for all the crap you have done to the car lmao!! i'm gonna take the 93 off my policy, give my agent the vin for that car, get the insurance cards and fly up, i'll then get the title and bill of sale and wing it back with no plate, i'll ask my agent if thats the best thing to do too. i appreciate all this dan, so does shari i owe you big time, i figure a 4 pack of miller high life 16 oz'ers and a little ceasars 5 dollar pepperoni pie should even the score lmfao!!

In my state we have a car transport tag that is good for X amount of days. Florida might have something similar so you can drive it legally.
 
They don't mind me working on a personal vehicle as long as it doesn't interfere with the paying customer's cars. I've been doing all this work before and after work hours. And really I don't mind doing the extra work, this is all easy stuff. I'm just kinda fixing little things as I find them.
 
hey, it took alot of years and busted knuckles to finally land a few deals. i dont always get them brandon, the opal gray 93 i bought with the rosemist wasnt a deal, i totally lost my shirt on that, really bad, but sometimes you have to. i have had my share of bad deals too dont think its always roses and sunshine for me! if it wasnt for dan, i would have never known about this car so i owe dan big time.
 
i think Dan has a mark 8 fetish and is fondling your mark 8 way too much Jamie, he wants to touch every part before he loses the chance.

good buy! i spoke with my wife about it (even though its a gen 1 :)) and she said if we had a place for it i could of gotten it.
 
I never thought I would like a Gen 1. There's just something about the car I fell in love with the first time I saw it. I think it's the color combo. The only thing I don't care for is the seats. The Gen 2 seats are so much better as far as support. I have a complete black Gen 2 interior in mint shape. Are the seats interchangeable? If so, I will be in heaven!

Well, I was supposed to go play paintball at a field that is like an hour from my house. I was super excited because this will be the last time I will get to go there, since I am moving out of NC next weekend. I got there, and nobody showed up, slow weekend I guess. So I was bummed and didn't know what to do with myself. So, I decided to go work on Jamie's turd...

Put it on the lift and was dissapointed to see the insides of the front tires so chewed up, from outside, the tires looked good...

While I was working on this an old friend of mine showed up with his new toy, he built this himself. Its a 5.4 4valve out of a Navigator with a Australian Ford Falcon intake manifold. I drove it, its SICK!

Mount and balance 4 tires. I don't normally put weights on the outside of a nice lincoln rim, but the tires are old and its a long drive to FL... that and our tire machine is abused and you can't switch it from dynamic to static anymore.

jesus dan find something else to work on i dont have enough money or parts to pay back all this work lol, but you did break the center caps, so i guess you owe me now lol! just kidding, its gonna blow trying to find new ones though, just like everything else they are also obsolete. maybe i'll steal petes off his when he is sleeping and stick a piece of that trim brite that i use on headlights, over the center of his hub he'll never know lmao. man i hope it looks as good in person as it does in pics it is a damn good looking $1500 wifey car! by the way did you get my paypal money?
 
I got the money, thank you. It is in the process of getting to my bank account from paypal. My manager suggested using a little bit of RTV to kinda glue the caps back in, could be an idea? I just figured since you were talking about getting new tires on it, i'd leave the centers out. 2 of them will probably stay just fine, they only lost 1 finger, the other 2 lost them all... The face of the caps looks good though.
 
On another note, I'm not terribly excited about the tires. You can tell me what you think of them when you get here, but I think they will make it just fine, but I would feel better with that spare in the trunk. I personally would probably drive the car to FL on them, but sometimes I do dumb things. You can take a look at them when you get here and tell me if you feel comfortable driving on them.
 
oh great get me worried now, like i am not worried enough about the fact i dont have it registered! now you want to tell me you put death trap tires on it, you did it on purpose, trying to sabotage the god?? wow lol that went right to my head didnt it lol, i need to go lay back down i didnt get enough sleep!
