this is the last thing i want to do, but dan helped me out in a big way, but to do it, he had to tie up money for me that he really needs right now specially with selling his house and moving back to florida. i need to pay dan back like asap, i am asking for someone to invest 1500 bucks into my sorry ass for more than a few weeks, maybe a month tops, my 93 mark is gonna go up for sale dirt cheap on craigslist, and here i guess, just to get me back a good chunk quickly, i'm asking for help from someone who wont be in a jam if they loan me 1,500 bucks, obviously i dont want to borrow it from someone who only has 1,500 because then you will be without it! if anyone can spot me 1,500 bucks for no more than 4 weeks, i'll pay you back an extra 100 bucks for helping me. i need to get this deal done as quick as i can, dan is moving here and i have no where to store a car in north carolina, i need to get up there and get the car back. this isnt a car i am going to part out, i am getting this for my wife. dan bought the car for me tonight so it is mine i cant back out now!! i appreciate the help if someone is willing. thanks.
 
seriously dude? sending 1,500 through paypal will kill me on their cut though lol unless we do it as a gift, can we do that on paypal for that amount?
 
I dunno. I bought my 98 through paypal for 6800 I think I lost about 130 dollars or something since i paid the fees. I don't mind loaning you money you are a good guy and an asset to our community. If you know of an easier way to send you money I will do it that way... I can send ya a check too.
 
Jamie I wish I could have it like that to help you out just because that is the type of dude I am. But I am going to add for people to see that might have it, that I WOULD do it if I had it! Sort of like a character reference or something like that. Jamie is good for it and he helps folks out all the time and would do it for someone else if he had it. So if you are able it won't be a bad thing to do. Good luck Jamie!!!

Wow Staff! Very cool!

FYI, Paypal will charge no matter what. If you send it as a gift then they will charge you an extra $45 I think (give or take) and if you send it for services/goods then they will pull the same ammount out on Jamies end.

Still very cool of you!
 
bill when we send as gift paypal doesnt take fees out my wife does it all the time unless paypal changed their policies again. but i really cant thank you enough staff being the 1st of the month all the rents are due and the rest of lifes joyful bills its a horrible time for me to purchase another car but i have to do it for my wife she needs it, i just talked to dan and he has the car at his work, he's gonna go over it for me and make sure its ready for a road trip. i am gonna ship a compressor up to him to fix the air ride and see about a plane ticket for next saturday. road trips blow lol! at least i am not going back to connecticut in the middle of a blizzard!

Jamie, glad that you got the help you needed when you needed it. Staff, very awesome of you to step up and help so quick.

This is one of the reasons I love this community it is great!!! The LVC family looks after it's own and I am honoured to be a part of it.
 
send it thru paypal as personal and it is fee free, the reason they offer that is for friends and family and there is no buyer protection, which you dont need in this case anyway.

its not connecticut in winter,but hopefully Hurricane Earl is outta there by then
 
it will be by then , but i'm thinking of flying to charlotte, and that would land on september 11th :(
 
LVC, you guys here rule. I have never been a member of a forum anywhere that people helped eachother out like they do here. Everyone that has seen the car keeps saying how nice it is. The cup holder is even un-broken. I will be pretty much following Jamie down to FL with my trailer loaded up to move to FL, so if there are any hickups on the way, we will have every tool needed to remedy the problems.

Thats so cool that someone stepped up so quickly! Wish I could of helped in some way. To bad Jamie you live on the other side of Florida. I would say we should meet up and do dinner when my wife and I go out there in Feb on vacation.

BTW... That Avatar that Moes8 has is like the plate Im looking for to put on the front.
