I found the part thats making the squeak behind my front passanger side wheel. Its a 6 inch long bar that looks like a wrench that bolts onto the control arm and the strut I think? anyways, here is the bottom part where the bushing is cracking off and broken.

While Im here, is it worth lowering the car's sensors? It doesnt look all that complicated down here, but I would wonder if the car would drop lower on the highway and rub. Is there a DIY guide or walkthrough available anywhere?

all 1 piece... small little bars... 2 nuts then you hammer it off or pickle fork it off. I think ford quoted me 120 for both with my discount.

$120 dammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm thats a hell of a discount lmao!!!!!

i got a set of them off ebay they were moog and they were only 10 bucks with free shipping

Although the sway bar link bushing is messed up, I am going to put money on your ball joints are toast, I can't tell exactly from your pic, but it looks like the boot on the lower ball joint on that side is all torn up.

I dont know what brand I got, but I just got 2 sway bar links & 2 ball joins for $40 bucks picked up 10 minutes from my work :)

You put your links on yet? And I hope for 40bux, you didnt get OE brand... they suck!

If they are OE brand, don't even waste your time... search on it. I think LaserSVT had OE brand junk on his car...

Yeah, Im going to just sell the ball joints on ebay or something - The passanger side one looks rough, but its holding up well (just the bushing looks like :q:q:q:q)

No wiggle, or noise - so ill leave it be. I do hear a "DUNK" when I hit a pot hole tho

It didnt say OE Brand on the ebay listing =/ Just "ball joints"

They were from the same shop as the Sway links, which were a decent brand
Whats a "decient" brand? And are your new links straight or bent?

Then they are not decient.

Pretty sure people warned you about all this crap you are doing wrong.

I know that growing up in Boston, that brand was local, and well-respected. I dont think anyone warned me about anything Im doing wrong.

Numerous people advised against doing my valve cover gasket myself so I am holding off until I have an experienced hand.

*tugs on lasers tie *

Sorry, your head was floating up your ass again

Really? My heads up my ass you dumb ass?

You have been told not to get Moog end links because they are bent and not straight like OEM/TRW. IDK or care what brand you bought, you bought bent ones and they suck. Then me and several others VERY specifically say dont but the ebay crap and what do ya do? You buy the ebay crap.
We tell ya to get the complete lower controll arm because you dont have to press the ball joint in AND it replaces all the bushings ...... what do you do? You get a chit ball joint by itself. Do you have the tool to remove and install a ball join? I would bet not.

Man I have tried so hard to be nice and constantly spoon feed you but......... screw it

Ok, now FYI - the sway link discussion was to someone else who bought them off ebay not me, you said something to him, he said he bought MOOG

I dont know what the FAHK MOOGs are if its a brand, a style, a FAHKINing gay sex position - so RELAX... Mr. I got a pretty white car, and that makes me a super hero but when I dont take everyone elses advise I cry and wine like a CUN-T but get all high and mighty when I lay down the law and people dont listen...

Half the SHIET you guys say to me is like chinese.. Im not familar with the terms, and what not - Rather then be more annoying then my beginner questions already are I try to make an educated enough decision on my own. The difference is, if I make a msitake on some sway links Ill have to change them again sooner then I intended... whereas when you dont listen u need to suck dick to pay for a new motor.

I stand corrected, I see Jamie and a couple others said Moog. Personally I like OEM style as do many others on here. I bought Moogs before but had them wear fast cause my car was lowered and I drive it hard. With the straight ones I haven't had any issues.

So my bad, I guess it was only me and Sapperfire saying not to get the bent style. And it is well known that we both know jack chit about these cars. How we got my new motor to run is beyond me.

As to the ebay crap. YOU were told as well as many others. If you had the slightest clue how to use the search function then you would know what to do and how to do it and what to use.

You see when I first started here and knew very little about these cars I was told to use the search function. I did. I learned SOOOOOOOOO much about these cars its insane. I also learned how to fix it right the first time. If its something new and I cant find all the info by searching then I ask. I pay attention to when people are giving me sound advice and I follow it and it gets fixed.

I have NEVER swapped a piston engine before and I chose the holy grail of PITA engines to swap for the first time. But following sound advice and doing some research I did it. I didn't come on here saying "Its in but wont start", no, I just did the proper steps that I found on here to figure out why and I fixed it.

Point is you made 15 worthless threads about BS that would have been easily fixed and answered had you just searched for it. You would have known what to use and not use and how to swap it.

As to the comment of me not taking advice....... you're an idiot. I take advice thats proper and disregard the obvious dumb chit. Unfortunately as late there are many people on here that give just terrible advice that makes no sense.

Here are just a few screen names that will give you PROPER advice:
BAD97LSC
Sapperfire
LaserSVT
DLF
Kustomizingkid
Stack
Ford Nut
MRZEE
LSC HUNTER
Dan
Chicken
Mespoc
ONEBADMK8

There are a couple others too but if you follow those peoples advice then you will have a good running car.

If you are a true car enthusiast then you will listen and learn. Do some research and learn about the car and its quirks/fixes. If you do not want/cant do that then you should sell the car and get a Civic. It will never break and you wont have to fix it.... plus they are disposable.

BTW, if you were within 200 miles of me you would have that tissue box shoved so far up your ass you could taste the cardboard.

Search function works well for just about every question you had. I knew you were in trouble when you said you were fighting to get the sway bar end links out, something that is actually a pretty easy job. My advise to you would be to search about your questions and read as much as possible and ask questions if you still do not understand. Also download the repair disc that has been floating around here for ages.

I agree, I could have searched for my answers rather then interupt the countless other threads on here *crickets chirp* However since I dont hvae the basic knowledge yet, i felt best to spark conversation about the topics, so if I have a question about it I can ask. Its also beneficial for SEO for the forum, which will bring more viewers/members and help the board grow - but mostly I did it just to help myself learn, rather then find the answer to my question and not understand it.

It doesnt help to know that I need to modulate the flux capicator recepticle for my intake manifolds temp valve if I dont know waht any of that is or does, or where its located... rather then compile a ton of 1/2 understood answers and make an assumption, I ask a question.

As for your empty threat... no.. U wouldnt :) Ud be installing that breath-controlled steering mechanism christopher reeve had in your pretty little car,.

Bring it you little c u n t. You got the chit to back it up then bring it the fock on! You think your little fehggot ass can take me down? What a fockin laugh! You aint chit you stupid fock. I beg of you to come paralize me! I fuggin dare you to try! I wont paralize you but I will teach your punk ass a lesson and it wont be gental like when your daddy sodomized you.

Fuggin punk ass bitch.
