I have decided to take the car to Capitol Raceway in Maryland tomorrow evening to get some baseline numbers for my current combo before doing any more upgrades.

Current mods are:
4.10 Ford racing gears
T-lok
255 LPH Walbro
Dynotech 4" aluminum driveshaft
Sniper tuned computer (via Laser)
Removed air silencer

Pretty basic stuff.

The track is 20 feet above sea level and the temp at race time should be in the upper 70's to around 80.
Also, they usually prep the track decently for TNT from what I hear.

My guess is 14.7-14.8 at around 95 MPH.

So what are your guesses? Person closest wins a cookie.

You forgot to mention an important aspect, what is the raceweight? How much do you weigh?

315. Same weight I was when I ran the 14.65 in my 94 stock. Will be removing the spare and run with 1/2 tank of gas or less.

93/94's are the fastest years stock as i'm sure you know already. I'm gonna guess you are going to run 14.6 at 95mph...

If it ran equal to what my 94 did I would be thrilled. I should know in about another 21 hours:D

now i know ive heard this before but why are they faster? it doesnt make sense that as the years went, lincoln made this car slower and slower?:shifty:

It's the 93 that was really the fastest because of the PCM calibration. I think the PCM code is W3Z2 or W3Z3 and later in 94 they came with Z4H0 and then later was the DZA1 PCM which weren't as fast. Shift points were different and other factors that slowed them down from the 93 PCM's. Not THAT much slower but on a track, you would see a difference.

If you had cat-back dual exhaust, I'd spot you at 14.5@96. Without it I'm guessing 2 tenths and 1 mph penalty for a 14.7@95.

The W3Z2 PCM code IS the quickest. ;)

I ran 14.09 in my Gen2 on a cold day. On warm days I'm 14.2's and 3's all day long.

my modifications are:
3.73
chip
LMS MAF
shift kit
crank pulley
180 degree t-stat
255 walbro
LMS twin XX exhaust
275 size Eagle F1 in the back
Bilstein 03-04 Cobra shocks

With the 4.10's + Gen1 I think you should be at least as fast as me. I'll say 14.3.

If your tune sucks, 14.75. If it doesn't suck and you can hook, 14.45.

If he didn't get a custom Sniper tune like I sent to Hotrdlincoln then it probably isn't that great. The standard Sniper tune doesn't take out the timing retard in between shifts... I have the magic file with that deleted ;)

Message center will inform him of problem, and he'll turn around and go home, no one gets a cookie!
