Well shes just a bare shell now.

Man I am gonna miss that car and while I was watching all my hard work get torn apart I actually shed a tear as GMAN was yanking the colum out.
Really there is not much of anything left and after Chris comes to get it he pretty much is just getting the shell, windows, dash and wires.
I still have to remove the strut rod bushings. I just paid over $200 for them and since the 98 has a mis matched set I may as well yank em.


So I get homw from work and theres three guys pretty deep into parts removal. They already had the car up and the engine going down.
Had a decient engine hoist/

And here is GMAN and JT taking out the interior parts they wanted. The steering colum gave GMAN pure hell. :lol:

Got it stripped pretty quickly too.

And man they had that engine out in no time! It was all unhooked and GMAN and I were talking about the door pannels and a couple minutes latter we were both suprised to see this :

Looks big with nothing there. :lol:

After they were done I pulled the brakes, suspension and computer to ship to their new owners next week.
So now all thats left is this :

Bummer. I was hoping that would be it. At least you have the whole colum to work with.... may be easier to just swap the whole thing. :lol:

dont forget to take off those LSC moldings!

I have someone that wants them but they are really fighting me. I will give it a last shot tomorrow to get them off.

Horrible! Just rewinding the clock a couple weeks & it was a completely different story but everything happens for a reason! You were meant to be the last true owner of your evergreen!

Bill, you may as well try to get the mouldings off. I may steal the passenger door but I'm flushing out the mouldings on mine anyways, so you're sure not hurting anything by trying.

And I think after my car's painted with the Gen 2 rear, supercharger, and custom front clip, you'll feel better about it living on...

I was cruising thru my town today and saw one that I've seen for years, a white pearl 95... only this time it was sitting in the driveway with a smashed front end and a t-boned drivers side... soo sad... another one bites the dust.

Yeah me too Brandon. I look at it now and think damn... for a hood, fender, header pannel, headlight and grill it would be ok again. I just didnt want to spend all that money and still have almost 160K car with no moon roof.
Fortunatly after selling everything I am not flat broke and I have a car I do like much more.
