Demon/Angel Eyes Installed (Alot of Photos)

Those are the ones you got right?

Cool. How did the new sealant cure? Is it easily taken apart just incase you need to open them again?

It did a helluva job. It actually filled the little gaps and layed downa nice clear layer all along the seam I cut. If I ever do another pair of lights again, I would use this stuff for sure, it dries clear and does a nice job.

And yes if I ever needed inside them again, I could easily exacto-knife and cut into the sealant. It is easy afterwards because you have now created a seam you can penetrate into without having to cut through solid plastic.

But with the LED rings I see no reason you would ever open the headlights again, you can always access the back of the reflector bowls and the wiring config from the rear doors.

I am going out to remount them here in a few minutes. Ill get some nice shots of the rings tonight.

And to those guys earlier asking me to do theirs for them, I'll think about iit lol.

Cool. Where did yo get the sealant from? And the name?

LocTite Universal T.A.C Premium Construction Adhesive.

I got it @ Lowes in the painting area where all the caulking/sealant/adhesives are.

It was almost $11 with tax for one tube.

You're lights look like they have cancer... CUZ THEY'RE SO SICK!!! I wana do this soon but I'm not too eager to start hackin into the headlight housing. Good job with your car so far!

I was like that too but after going through threads and more poeple cutting them open, it doesn't seem that bad now.

This is truth. I actually think mounting the rings and sealing the headlight are both harder than cutting. If you have a nice dremel cutting wheel, it is a breeze.

Also I advise you to wear goggles when cutting it, it is dangerous with, flying melted plastic fragments, spinning off the housing.

Looks good to me. Get the rest of the damage fixed ASAP! Personally, I'd rather have them on a different switch so that I could use them or not when I wanted.

Those are definately bright. Nice work. Rainjacks, thats not damage it's a custom mod to get more cold air to the filter/motor.

I am not sure why, but the ring in that photo looks different than mine. The photo with them unlit, look @ the right side of the big ring compared to the left, it looks odd... Dunno if it is angle illusions or what..

Also I believe in that photo they have the little plastic bar that hold the rings structure, cut to allow a few more millimeters of width.

You mean the right side looks a little wider? Thats all I noticed. How do they differ from yours?

Like the ring looks odd shapen in those photos with them unlit, it looks like the ring is deformed or something.

Anyways the only difference I can really tell is that one looks to be wider, but they also appear to have cut the top brace that holds the ring structure, I left mine attached.

I went out and took some night photos only to find they blind the camera lol... It looks like I have my lowbeams on, but I do not!

That first pic are the angel eyes on only?

Yea... They are ridiculously bright!

I can pretty much drive down my neighborhood street with just the demon eyes on and I can still see the road in complete darkness.

It is insane, but it looks really good. I took a trip to the store around dusk time where the sun was setting and it wasn't quite *headlight conditions*. I drove with the parking lights on + demons and I was getting alot of looks.

I was thinking about buying some of the led halo rings off ebay and trying them out. Does anyone know what size I need for the rings in mm?

Okay I just realized something today, when I do not have my parking lights on, and I signal - the demon eyes flash with the signal... However when the parking lights are on, the demon eyes stay lit. Kinda annoys me, but ever since I got the demon eyes I have no driven without my parking lamps on so I did not notice.

Does anyone know how I can fix this? Also I guess nobody had an answer for the puddle lights deal?
