It did a helluva job. It actually filled the little gaps and layed downa nice clear layer all along the seam I cut. If I ever do another pair of lights again, I would use this stuff for sure, it dries clear and does a nice job.
And yes if I ever needed inside them again, I could easily exacto-knife and cut into the sealant. It is easy afterwards because you have now created a seam you can penetrate into without having to cut through solid plastic.
But with the LED rings I see no reason you would ever open the headlights again, you can always access the back of the reflector bowls and the wiring config from the rear doors.
I am going out to remount them here in a few minutes. Ill get some nice shots of the rings tonight.
And to those guys earlier asking me to do theirs for them, I'll think about iit lol.
