just joking you arent a duchebag. i owe brandon one, today i was going to replace enskankers fuel pump with a 255 lph walbro, or its similar to walbro, whatever the case holy :q:q:q:q this thing got the best of me today. for one, anybody who studies rocket science like myself, knows you put red wire with red wire, black wire with black wire, nope, not here rocket boy. after dropping the tank today, and having almost a gallon of gas gush out of the filler hose and go right into my buddies ear, moth and both eyes, we almost had to make a trip to the hospital, my god he was in bad bad shape, but thankfully he is fine now. we got him into my bathroom and put his head in the sink. i went back while he was sitting for awhile and put the whole thing back in and back up and turned the key and guess what, nothing, no start, no fuel. Son of a bitch!!! so i took it all back out, and was ready to figure out a new route, and then i talked to brandon, he told me to reverse the polarity on the pump, sounds stupid i know, red to red, black to black, nope, i cross the polarity, put it back in the tank and with the tank hanging i fired it up, WALLA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she's back, yeeee hawwwwww no more stumble, no more rough running, and obviously plenty of fuel pressure, she runs awesome now and goes like a raped ape. thanks brandon, now i know if i ever do one again, i can throw away my rocket science knowledge, it need not apply here!!!!

Jamie, I could have told you today on the phone that the wires had to be reversed but you kept saying something about a shrader valve. It never dawned on me about asking if you had reversed the wires or not. Anyway, glad you got that thing going. Is all the jobs on that one complete now?

A dick thanking a douchebag, how interesting.

:p

yes terry, Ed's car is all set. total job was a new fuel filter, new spark plugs, some lucas injector cleaner in the tank, ran seafoam through it, fixed the o.d switch, replaced the blend door, changed the fuel pump and inspected the suspension, some suspension parts will be next after Ed recoupe's from all this!!!! tomorrow i have another customer coming in for a blend door, and i have 3 sets of headlights to re-do. christ i might as well quit my job if i can stay this busy lol!!!
i was even a nice guy and took Ed's car through the car wash tonight, its been sitting at the shop for about 2 weeks now so it had some dust and crap on it, took it for a bath tonight, he is coming to pick it up in the morning, i wanted it to look as good as it runs now!!

Well all I can say is number one above all else is that its great that Jake is OK.
Its scary when something like that happens because nothing is worth a permanent injury from accidental things like that.

Just really glad he is OK.

Thanks to Jamie and buddy Jake for enduring and hanging tough.

I felt bad when Jamie called and told me about Jake and the pump problems,
and admittedly I was thinking all day at work about getting the Mark back
and then this...WTF!!! ..and then Jake with gassed up eyes and ears.

Lookin' forward to testing out the my new Jamieized MARK and from the way it sounds who needs an SCT tune.

just joking you arent a duchebag. \

Yes he is we just like him as the official LvC Duche ... as Duches go he's OK ... what else would we do for humor?

Evap tray!

Be careful remember his special talent for making things that cause the car not to work LOL

KK we love ya man ... we just love giving you a hard time ... your no longtimelincolnpick ... or bigappleprick .. or even a little duchesweet LOL ...

ask KK who he called to verify the correct info...
LMAO

i think Jamie should email KK the 40 minute blend door procedure,
you know.. help those that help you?

grins

...not even an "honorable mention"..

hmph..
lmao

Ask Jamie how he got KK to call him lol. Yeah, no honorable mention :D about the network in the middle and the PM time invested providing phone numbers and having to listen to Jamie yap about that fuel pump.

I'm just messing with both of you, only took a second to pass the number along.;)

Funny thing I remember reading something on a thread link here about reversing the wires on a Walbro Mod, but I did not make the connection yesterday...we were thinking it was a problem with fittings/lines....

BTW...Picked it up about 1 1/2 hours ago... the car drives like a totally different vehicle. Smooth, responsive and torque'y when you give her the gas. WOW...

Thanks Jamie.

Some people are never happy... I'm going home for thanksgiving and I'll make you your tray!

Could you make me one of them nifty chrome ignition bezels while you are at it? :D

Lol....

Tommy did help verify... and nolimit gave me Jamie's number... there ya happy?

Chicken's car will probably explode into thousands of pieces any day...

i was under my mark this afternoon and my evap tray is about to disintegrate as well. Man that thing looks nasty.

yeah my suspension is so rusted that when i tried to unscrew the screws holding the semi disintigrated tray...everything fell apart so i ended up having to hold the new tray with clothes hangers.....what a shame...if you look at my mark you would never imagine that its rusted from the front to the back. Its new name the rust bucket.
