And I have failed. http://www.thecustomwheelshop.com/ does not have them and isnt sure when he will. I really want the silver 18" ones but just cant seem to find them. I am about to spend some coin on the car and cant afford a hub swap too to get the Mustang versions.
Anyone have any ideas where some are?

Id like to buy a set too. I wonder if we can get enough people together to get a group buy going? I doubt it :(

I know that is Brads store... but just because the wheels aren't on his site RIGHT NOW doesn't mean he isn't ever going to have them again....

ah, I got ya kk... :D
I wonder how many sets he'd need for a group buy, someone better pm him...

Jeremi told me about some 18" saleen speedstars available on ebay from the seller 'wheelindex' in the 2005 mustang offset that fit perfect. They're pretty cheap and for the price difference, you can afford to do the hub swap.

Just an idea

I have PMd Brad and he told me he does not have them right now. :(

Buy the mustang bolt pattern speedstars on ebay from wheelindex. At least they are hubcentric and the lug holes are in the right spot, not funny offset_ed like on the 5x4.25 knock offs. At $489 + $84 shipping it's a no brainer. Front hubs $55 each, rear hubs $150 for the pair, little labor and a drill press. Better wheel for the same money, and available anytime.

Keep your stock hubs and RE-swap it when your ready to switch. You can MORE than get your money back on everything.

Wonder how much it would cost me to redrill my rotors.....

Guess I will watch teh bay and wait for some rear Cobra hubs to show up.I dont know how I will remove/replace the rears though. Wonder if Autozone has the tool for rent... something else to look into.

No parts store has anything to press the hubs out. Any decent shop can do it. Prolly run ya 40 bucks for both.

Not seeing it. I only see the rear hub from them for $135 each. I guess I could just stop by the store since they are only 2 or 3 miles away.

however much a drillbit and tape measure costs.....

Jeremi just wants respect for all his wisdom. Truth is, unless the mustang wheels come in a 36mm offset they're going to stick out too far, just like every other stock mustang wheel that's been put on any mark. Brad doesn't manufacture them just because. He manufactures them because there isn't a 9" wheel that fits correctly anywhere else in the world.

i'm hub swapped and running 18x9 03 cobra's with 275/40's on a stock 99-04 mustang backspacing. I sometimes have a rub at lowered highway speeds if i hit hard enough to bottom the suspension out.

I run the widest 275 40's available and cruise very low all the time and don't rub a thing.

I have a set in the corner of my garage for 700 including tires. Fronts still in great shape, rears will need replaced. I don't need to sell them, but here they are if anyone wants. They're chrome, brads wheels, including hubcentric rings.

Stainless lugnuts too, for an additional $25. They're 75 new, and with the 15 dollar tool they're 90. 25 isn't bad.

I'm running 20's now.
