Here's some pics of my son's 93. Repainted whole car including ground effects, same color but looks darker because we used darker primer this time. Changed interior color from aquamarine blue to black. Swapped in a 96 dash so he could have double din. 2nd gen door panels and seats. Huge thanks to ahicks70 for painting the car. Alan paints all of my cars and does a great job. I've included a pic of my youngest who I'm very proud of. He's 22 and a USAF Special Forces Combat Controller. This is why I work so hard on this car. He just got back from 6 months in Afghanistan. I've literally been working on this car nonstop right up until he left this morning to go back to Seattle. I told him to clean it up yesterday and take some pics while I was working. I wish I had some better pics.

Pretty rare ground effects, that's the route I wanted to go with my 93 ..
Great work!

WOW!!! Well truth be told you must've been hiding the previous imperfections very well because previous pictures you've shown of that car was as glossy as these. Nice job on the 2nd Gen door panels & the '96 dash. That was also a dream of mine on my '93. Never got around to do it. Great lookin car!

Awesome work on that car love the paint and the ground effects. How did you get the Gen2 door panels to fit and the Gen2 seats ?

Pepperman, the 2nd gen seats weren't to bad. I used the 1st gen seat tracks and plastic seat base and set the 2nd gen seats on them. Lost the lumbar function, but think you could also make that work if you spent a little time on it. I didn't have the time to mess with it. The door panels weren't to bad. The inside handle has to be relocated. Knock the front rivet out and move it up. Easy. Passenger side panel was easy as well because you only have door lock and window switch to rewire. Most of the wire colors are the same. Driver's side was more complicated. You have trunk release, fuel door release, power mirror switch and seat memory switch. I would highly recommend to anyone doing this that they have the second gen connectors as well.

Very nicely done Roger. Just like the silver 93 I did last year. I've figured out how to completely transform a gen 1 interior into a gen 2. It's not bad, but not for the easily discouraged.

Good looking car. Love the paint and LSC stuff. Not really digging the 4x4 style or body kit, but as long as you like it thats all that matters.

Exactly what I was going to write. ;)

Ya, he took pics with it sitting at city height. It would look better lower but the front ground effects have fixed too many times. I'm personally not a big fan of the body kit either, but he likes it, that's why it's on there.

Personally, there's a couple things I'd change if it were mine. Since you did the LSC rear bumper, I'd use the Lsc exhaust tips. The spoiler - swap that to a LMS style, and use my sexy hood :)

Great job! I did the interior swap years ago, much better then those crappy gen I ones. Would love to more pictures. And from one airmen to another, thank you! A CC is a hard core job.

I love everything about that car except the ground effects and spoiler. Color is awesome, wheels are cool, and upgraded interior is sweet. I just think the ground effects look a tad gaudy. But that's my opinion. To each his own. I feel like the Mark VIII should be smooth and uncluttered. But that's just the way I feel. If you like it, cool beans!

your right to each his own. im on the other side of the spectrum. i think this is one of the best looking cars on the forum and its mostly do to the body kit and the tail wing. id f-ing kill to get a kit like that for my mark.

out of all the things about these cars thats the one thing that bothers me the most is there are zero kits for sale for them.

Thanks Eric, and thanks to you and all of the men and women that serve in the military. I know he thanks his brothers in the air, as he said the Apache helicopter guys saved their asses a few times. He was in the 2nd hottest spot in the country with daily firefights and bombings. Amazing how none of it is on the news anymore. I think alot of people don't even realize we are still at war, with young men and women losing their lives everyday. Here's a few more pics. I wish I would have had time to take some better pics before they had to leave.
