New Paint, LSC treatment, New dash, 2nd gen door panels and seats

Ive got a early 94 base model, which I want to throw in a dash from a 95 or 96 so I can have the double din also - was there anything serious to rewire when you did that?

I also want to swap out my HVAC as I have the lovely "soft button" unit with the buttons all broken! If I got the dash and HVAC unit from a 95 or 96 would the HVAC unit plug right in with directly to my 94?

I just finally started to dig into my car and Ive been playing with it lately - what would I need to grab from a donor car to upgrade the interior to the newer double din dash? I have a bad ass custom stereo left over from my Tbird I want to move to my Mark and I need the double din because I have a digital EQ that I am not willing to skimp on with the installation.

from what I saw it looked like the console, and dash pad from driver to pass side (under the VMM unit), faceplate for the radio and HVAC, and complete console. I plan to re-wrap my entire interior in vinyl and leather once I get my old junky console swapped, and dash upgraded.

As far as the climate control unit, you can use one from a 95/96 right now, plug and play. Various other Ford models work also. You will need the dash and console from a 95/96. I used a 96 because that's what I had sitting around. Had to change 3 connectors. 1 to the left of the steering column, 1 to the right of column and one that goes through the trans tunnel. That was the worst one as 96 is obd II and had twice as many wires going through the floor. I would imagine 95 is probably plug and play since it's obd I. Or while both dashes are sitting on the floor swap the harnesses over. If you go with 96 I suggest swapping harnesses. I think 95 would be plug and play.

I like the black interior swap. It looks like it belongs there even though I've never seen an aquamarine '93 with black interior. The 2nd gen seats are a nice upgrade. :)
 
Thanks for the compliments guys. Driller this car was originally China blue with aquamarine interior. This is actually a GM color called superior blue. It looks alot like yours, that why I was asking what color yours was in a previous thread. There both good looking cars.
