Car turns over, has fuel pressure at the rails. I hear the pump going (I haven't tested the pressure yet just hit the gauge to see if gas squirted out).

The only work I've done under the hood in the last week is replace the spark plugs. Drove it home. Parked it, then when I came out It turns over but doesn't start.

Does anyone have any ideas? Maybe a loose COP?

Try disconnecting the battery for 10 min and reconnect. If nothing, I'm going to guess the computer has quit.

Crankshaft, or cam position sensors ever been replaced?

No, neither one. I did get in there and unplugged-replugged the CPS but don't know where the cam-shaft position sensor is.

The CPS has given me problems before so it's the first thing I checked. I also checked the fuses for funsies but no luck there.

Where is the cam-shaft position sensor?

Its in the timing cover below/behind PS reservoir

Replace crank sensor. If it has given problems before it will give them again. Unless you have an in with the magic underpants gnomes and they fix it for you while you sleep and they steal your underpants.

Yea, I think the CPS finally bit the dust. No amount of wiggling gets the car running again. Found a ford dealership with OEM part (for 3 times the price of anywhere else of course). Gunna get on that.

Saperfire. You aren't that far from me. I wanna come up there one day and take a ride in that mark.

edit: Also, to note. The CPS is found right behind the AC compressor right? Well, I've been using my AC for the first time ever for the last 3 weeks. ... Makes sense huh...

Anyone ever replaced the CPS without evacuating the AC lines? The R&R says you can... I'm wondering how much room I'll have under there and how bad it's going to be when an AC lines pops in my face. lol

Yes you can, and yes it is.
Its a dirty job.
Disconnect your serpentine belt.
From under the car there are three long bolts that hold the pump on the block two you can get at, the back one you have to get from the hole in the k member.
Slide it back and then you can get the c/s out.
No need to do anything with the lines.

FWIW... mine was doing the no start then start, change c/s and the problem went away.

Get yours fixed yet?
Mine should be running some time next week. Started carefully assembling the train today
Give me a couple weeks, she's in rough shape right now

Here's a shot of your sensor, if you haven't done it yet
All 3 can be removed with a 10mm socket and a foot long extention. Turn the wheel to right lock
You don't have to remove the bolts, just back them out about 15 turns, should give you enough room to get a shallow 8mm 1/4 behind the clutch
