Fool born every minute.

For 7k wow, the car is worth it but it is way overpriced if that makes any sense to anyone at all.

Jamie, there's a Cuban saying that I will roughly translate to the best of my ability; "With patience & saliva the elephant was able to f**k the ant" Dude, it can take months but it CAN happen, there's always a fool that is willing to pay for what they want. Why? easy... Let's say Joe Shmo used to love these cars back in the 90's, they came & went, he remembers the car but never saw them again as they are really hard to see on the street (out of sight out of mind), went about his life & one day he remembers that beautiful expensive Lincoln that he couldn't afford & decides to look online to see what these car's are going for, he browses through 6,7,10 of these Mark VIII's & comes across this car which is a "LINCOLN" & says to himself ; "I've seen the rest & they are too cheap, something MUST be wrong with them, I've gotta go see this one because it looks clean." BAAM! trapped just like that. Heck if I was able to sell a 1987 Thuderbird w/157,000 miles & rough paint & some Pony wheels for $2,900? I can surely sell my Mark VIII to some guy for $5,000 easily. It will take 3, maybe 4 months but I guarantee I can sell it for that price (if it was running, lol).

This place don't deal that much in cash cars. The proud new owner of this car is probably making monthly payments of $250 a month for 3 years. Don't be surprised if this owner shows up on here.

Must have been a Mexican fresh across the border.

LMAO! Probably!

If he does show up on the site, Let's make him feel welcome guys. You feel bad enough when they stuck it up your ( ! ) in a dealership but when someone rubs in "I TOLD YOU SO" it makes you want to commit suicide, lol.

Wow, I am kinda tempted to list mine for $8000 (it is a clean gen 2), and drive it until I sell it. I think if someone offered me more than double what I paid, I would take it....then go find another clean one for $3k, and bank the extra.

Buy here, Pay here probably.
He put $500 down payment on the car, probably whatever the dealer paid at auction for the car, then he makes weekly payments for the next few years.

If he'd offered $3k cash, he'd probably have walked away with the car.

It's been my experience that some of those mom and pop used car dealers turn down cash money because they know they will make more financing. This lot is also know for putting in those GPS trackers with ignition interrupt, so if they miss a payment, they can't drive. :p

Well that would suck. Nothing like being stranded due to lack of payment.

They only put those in for people who take the "all chance loans" that have bad credit.
