I am told he expected all kinds of extra parts that were never mentioned
that's :bsflag:

what I asked for is a Paypal invoice but dude is on recon hiding from something so I agreed to no invoice and to send cash
you won't find anywhere that I claimed something was offered and not delivered, I've yet to claim dude owes me anything- nor will you find somewhere I said I wanted to buy lowered springs- but I did and am still trying to figure out what parts I need..spring cups? you mean perches?
I own my ignorance as to what's needed to do the conversion and to what exactly ''Full Setup" means...your partner is more than willing to offer instructions, so I asked when I'm less than 100% certain...the fact that he can't turn his phone off and whines at work is between you and him- get real

I'm not a mechanic, that's why I ask for help...if Sniper doesn't want to help with install no prob

As for the sway bar, if you are lowered AND have a larger than stock sway bar you need shorter end links.
there ya go...simple answer!

it looks like sway bars from an 89-97 Cougar or T-Bird are compatible and a solid/upgrade?

I know their solid, so i'd consider that an upgrade over the hollow/prone to breaking stockers. (I forget if g1's are solid or not.)

I have a super coupe rear bar on mine due to the old one snapping. Did it help? Yeah, but like I said the old one snapped in half due to rust.. :)

today I got the perches (Snowflake rim center caps)
they fit around the coil perfectly with no isolator

with the iso on it's no go- but with retaining tabs bent back it's pretty snug -not perfect, maybe it'll work

finally put it back on the ground with new/used 1.5'' lowered coils and a new sway bar...I like the look, but it's definitely lowered...my jack got stuck under the front drv side after putting all the tires down :(

Strutmasters are probably the worst..

I've got a full setup for sale right now
Tokico Illumina with Vogtland springs.
Make me an offer in a PM ...AFTER you research the springs
thanks for selling me the cracked strut mount that had to be replaced

am I still bitter? fk yeah...nobody likes buying used junk

sniper knew what he had and was selling after he swapped the springs

Dam, how'd I miss this thread?
I probably could have made you perches on the same machine I made those fwd srb spacers on with whatever dimensions you needed and sent them for just shipping. My logic is if I make you a set then I can make myself a set also. :)

Anyone have a print on the rear perches? I'd like to program the cnc at work and whip up a set to see how they come out. Whoever send's me a print with all dimensions will get a set for free as soon as I can get time and a working program. Like to have a set for the future if ever needed.

Of course they will have to be made out of steel.

Doug (DLF) was making/selling perches...so i guess there's a void to be filled.....if you reach out to his widow, she may have the spec sheet(s)

Found his thread on his perches but was no dimensions with it besides the 1/4" base.

http://www.lincolnvscadillac.com/fo...-for-Spring-Conversion&highlight=rear+perches

But just so I'm clear on this. His upper and lower rear perches also require upper and lower isolators, correct?

Yes sir..isolators required, maybe if I find a set of vogtland 1.6" drop springs ill swap mine out and while I have the rear springs out ill measure them up for you. May want to get the ok from his wife to make copies of his perches..just to be respectful.

I don't think that will be a problem. I'm not looking to mass produce them, just to make a set to keep around in case I ever need them. Rear bag's have over 200k on them and not sure which way I'm going to go when they go out.

if I had it to do over, I'd get 1" Vog drops...they're available new on the auction site for around $200...the 1.5" Eibach drops I have on this white car are, imo, too low, considering how 'hilly' it is where I live, and the bump on the top of my driveway
