I am looking for some wider wheels , tire rack is only showing 8" wide does any one know what company makes wider wheel for my mark
I have a blown Mark with 275/40s out back and dont have tire spin.thnk I'll check them out i need to get alittle bigger tire to keep wheel spin down
Few things to consider here though.mike you saw my car at the meet i have the same saleen's as laser above 18x9 with 275-35 on the rear, i had 285-35 and those didnt rub ever, neither do my tires now obviously, but i didnt roll or trim anything on my car but i also dont have adjustable air ride, my lowered coil conversion is low though i still dont rub.
Yup. PSII's kicked freakin arse! Prolly the best tire you can get really. I had that size on the front of my last Cobra, almost as wide as the TA KDWs in that size and those run a tad wide.well the old michelin pilots i had on the rear were 285-35 and now i run michelin pilot sport ps II's on the rear in 275-40-18 and i swear they are as wide as what was on the car, only they are some bad ass tires compared to the plain jane michelins i had. and yes i was wrong above my rear tires are now 275-40.
I've got 18" by 10" wide FR500's in the back with 285 tires.
I can actually drive my car when its that low but not over a rough surface. :lol:The 18X9/10 bullit wheel set I put on a MarkVIII with Air susp. sensor lowered had no rub at all with Cooper A/S 245-45-18/275-40-18 rubber. He lowered the car to the point where he didnt have to trim or roll and I thought it looked perfect. Deff not as low as Bill's car in his sig pic though.
It depends on how you want the car to sit and if its on air or a coil conversion. Too many variables to go through really because there are so many ways to skin that cat its silly. So decide if you want to trim and roll, the answer to that would open things up alot.
