Since your using the pics from thecustomwheelshop.com, I'm guessing you've become a distributor for Brad?

Its expensive, but it ties the rear and the front together.
Interesting......

Not to the tune of the price. You could make or have someone make that chit for way cheaper. I hope that is the price installled while you get your duck sick in the back by some hot chick.

Oops

Sorry guys...tough crowd. I guess that's what I get for pulling down 12 hours in the shop then trying to write an announcement at 2 am.

We are working with Brad on the wheels and appreciate all his help.

As for the chassis strengthening package, that is an installed price and all parts are welded in. Our package includes an added rear crossmember that ties the outer rocker panels to the inner subframe via full length frame supports all the way to the firewall. We then make the forward section from the firewall to the front of the car removable for engine removal or maintenance. Also Included in the kit is a rear strut tower brace, fully installed. Sounds like a lot but once you start cutting and welding you would be surprised how much time you have tied up in it to do it right especially considering it does not have as much open area as we are used to having on our Mustang's.

Actually sounds pretty reasonable when you explain it. Work like that would be just as if not more expensive in my area. My only problem would be added weight on an already heavy car.

To me there prices don't seem that bad for the level of customization they have to do. When ever it come to custom pieces for cars its always more expensive, especially when you consider the fact that there installing it.

You have to remember there a business and there in this to make money. If they don't make any money on anything then whats the point of doing it...

I'm just glad to see another vendor entering the m8 world, and in typical behavior, some people gotta bitch about it. Be grateful that there is one more mark vendor out there now, and not so worried if they borrowed someone else's pictures and if you think their prices are high for something, somebody will pay it.

Its nice for the right car.

If you make a lot of power and drag race its a sweet package.
If your car leaves hard you will just destroy a uni-body car.
Your nice car will look like hell in in short order.
Not a package for a daily drive street car.

I agree 100%
Not a bad price for what it is, its also nice to see a vendor produce nice quality products for the mark VIII crowd.

Cool beans.

Rear strut tower brace? So now in addition to our non existant front struts we have rear struts?

Sorry, I like to be doucherific sometimes. :D
