What PSI?

I just bought some 18 inch wheels for my mark and i was wondering what PSI i should put it at. on the tire it says the max is 44 but that sounds high to my what you guys think?

I run my 18s at 30 psi.

I have always been told to run what the car says to run even on different size tires. I dont though.
Right now I run 34 on the front and 32 in the rear and have had perfect wear on my tires.

I have been running mine at 32psi and have been getting real even treadwear.

I'm on 16's and running 30 in the rear and 32 in the front.

Never use the max on the sidewall. It's the max for a reason - and maximum values are rarely optimal

I was told for every inch larger than stock rims you go up 2lbs over the stock recomended psi. That's what I do and couldn't be happier with the ride on my 18's. And there are lots of potholes here in Boston.
